Immediate rematch like Ruiz or should he have a fight with someone else, perhaps another south paw or someone of similar style to Usyk so he gets more experience with that?

He shouldn't take the rematch. Ruiz caught him with a good shot. This is different. Usyk totally schooled Joshua.

Joshua needs to just make a fight with the winner of Wilder/Fury 3 and win to get back into the picture because he stands no chance against Usyk.

Rematch, Saudi, 30ft ring, judges on side, leg-it.

He needs to rematch asap otherwise he wont get back to where he was.
Then he needs to change trainers cause Usyk would beat him up again.
He needs a different plan to clearly beat Usyk.
I doubt he has it in him but thats the route he should take.

Ideally do not take an immediate rematch, he's in a fortunate position where even without the belts almost everybody wants to fight him because he's the cash cow of the division even after this loss. So he has the luxury of being able to take a year to rebuild and whoever has the belts, whether it's Fury or Usyk will take the fight as long as they are paid well.

Joshua has shown he's more than just a physical beast, he does have some ring IQ and the ability to learn from previous mistakes unlike Wilder who's always been a one trick pony. He needs to learn to post, frame, collar tie and basically manhandle his smaller faster opponents, much like how Liston, Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Lewis and Wlad all learned to do with great effect. It's the one big glaring skill he lacks at the moment and it's the one that could see him possibly win a rematch.

I'd push for the rematch asap.

Analyze the fight video to see how it went pear shaped.

Come up with a new fight plan that minimizes Usyk's strengths and maximizes his own. He seems pretty clear headed after the loss and he will always have a power and size advantage.

Yea, I think Usyk just has his number. His best chance is to actually let his hands go but that risk gassing. He should fight good names he knows he can beat and hope that eventually gets him a shot of the winner of Fury vs Wilder 7

They're on record saying they'll take the rematch next now so that leaves them pretty much no other options

If he loses the rematch I don't see how he really continues fighting.
Id go for a jarrell Miller type fight then fight Whyte and if he wins both those fight Fury or Wilder or Usyk for the belts.
