Alot of comments about how bad the robbery is, so no need to go into that anymore.

However at present he does looks totally devoid.

For him to succeed in the future is it best he carries in fighting on DAZN cards but in less high profile events.

Or does he need to actually go 100% from the limelight fight in small halls with very few eyes on him. Then comeback to TV shows when he is a bit more accomplished?

Cannot help but think it was a horrendous career move signing with Matchroom so early. If he had any talent he was always going to get picked up. As it is he just a laughing stock

There’s some absolutely miserable ****s on here who do nothing but moan at boxing, hate every boxer, get pleasure out of boxers losing….

However in this case, every bit of ire is justified. How the **** is higher up the show than a former ring magazine champion who’s still only got one loss?! It’s absolutely disgusting the preferential treatment he gets and it’s at the detriment to other more deserved boxers. Someone like Maxi Hughes could have had that shot. He deserves it for rescuing Hearns card the other week!

I don’t care who is dad is, he’s pony and absolute novice. He should be on small hall shows, next gen shows - whatever happened to them?! Or at very best on 6pm slots on the Saturday fight night cards.

I feel a bit for Campbell seems a really nice guy but the selling point of the Hatton name coupled with expectations of ability don’t match ! No way in a normal world would a novice pro be matched so far up the bill in such a major event.
Yes he needs to learn his trade out of the limelight. Also Matchroom seem to be lacking a proper matchmaker who has had actual eyes on opponents instead of matching from records someone with a 2-4 record might seem a soft touch but doesn’t tell full story !

Definitely needs to get off the televised events, especially PPVs. The pressure on him must be immense.

That said, he doesn't look like he has any tools required to be a successful pro.

What was his amateur record like? Does anyone one know because I can't imagine him having a winning record at most levels of boxing. Even some of the better fighters on the unlicensed circuit would probably beat him quite handily.

In the amateurs I won a National Novice Title and two North West Titles. After winning the Novices it was hard to get matched with fighters with a similar amount of fights so I ended up boxing a lot of National Champions and international fighters which brought me on massively

He should have at least 2 losses already.

This is what bothered me last night. He does not merit being above Marku, a popular fighter who will have sold tickets on his own, or Callum Smith, a former world champion from with great family boxing pedigree.

If the card was in Manchester last night, I'd get it a bit more, but right now I feel sorry for the lad.

He needs to learn his trade with the full support of everyone around him - and if he gets a few knockouts and impresses, shunt him up the bill. then. But not now.

Surprised hes struggling so badly with the guys hes fighting atm tbh. He never had a great amatuer career think he got into it pretty late but he did fight some pretty good amatuers and done pretty well or competetive enough with them anyway.

Add to that what must be some pretty comprehensive pro training....and yet hes struggling badly against guys that should be beaten with ease. Although that opponent last night was actually half decent for a third fight...still reckon the opponent held back from stopping him. Hatton was ready to go.

Tbf i enjoyed the fight...low level of boxing but probably the second most entertaining fight on the card. At least he goes all in from the start. I reckon he,ll come on if they keep at it andhe settles down....but he doesnt have a future in boxing.

The old man was a legend imo....i dont mind his son getting favours. At least its mildly entertaining stuff. Actually like it more that its a struggle and not him blowing away over overmatched opponents with ease like he probably shouldbe doing.

Campbell is a very tough young man who can fight, and is as game as they come, no doubt. I have watched a couple of his amateur fights, where he was up against it, and this kid has no quit in him. With the right matches he can be entertaining and good viewing, worthy imo of a slot on the card, albeit placed a little earlier if not filling a time slot.

If you’re getting put as 3rd billing on a big PPV bill then you need to be ready to accept the criticism that’s fired your way. I see they took the latest post on Instagram down as he had a over 1k comments when he usually had 30; most were rightly highlighting what a disgrace the decision was.

He’s still built a teenager and got no man strength whatsoever- last night was embarrassing to watch and unless he’s got some serious resilience, his confidence is going to be shot.

Take him off TV events and let him have a couple of years developing. You’ll have some idea then wherever he’s ready to make the cut.

Only because they can’t actually find anyone who’s overmatched against him :)
