Calzaghe gets my respect!!! here is why.

But I will point out how dumb you're being by acting like Hopkins getting a point is the second coming of the messiah. Oh and he laughed, big deal. Joe was laughing when he was fake humping that cheating ******* after he'd had enough and needed a rest.

first off, you come off like an *******. you type in a different font and you think your opinion means somethign to anyone. I like Calzaghe, but we were talking about that 10 second clip that has your panties in a bunch. If i showed a kid that clip, a toddler, he would point out hopkins as being the better fighter. If i said to that same kid that they were both pro fighters he would laugh and say "oh i thought the white guy just took his shirt off cause it was hot." Calzaghe is a great fighter and always has been, but in reference to that clip he looks like a bum. for someone to say that hopkins landed a shot on his ARM is quite possible the dumbest statement ever in the history of the internet, not just these forums. your an *******. calzaghe has a very pretty wife my friend, i dont think he needs another girl on his dick.

that gif is cringeworthy...slappy actually closes his eyes on that second windmill (notice i said windmill because its too pathetic to be called an actual punch)...bernard got the better of the exchange slipped cazaghes windmills and made him run right into his own shots...if i remember rightly this was at the end of the 7th and slappy almost ended on his arse again from that

 

trust some one to find the single most awkward faze of the fight .that was about 2 secs of the fight .no one looks good all the time.

I'm always happy to go back and forth with someone who thinks they are as clever as I am. I'm sorry if my grammar offended you my friend. As I said, I love debates, if you can call this that, with someone who takes the time out to disect what I wrote and answer each statement with one of your own. Your love for Joe Calzaghe is astounding if not borderline creepy. OK lets assume you are giving score for the fight based on that clip ... who won it?

... Joe very busy and active, true warrior pressing Bernard hard, but missing all slaps
... Bernard forced to backfoot, then trying to headbut (which just staggered Joe a little), counternig to the arm on the outside (slopy) and missing one under-arm powershot

I would give and edge to Joe cause he keeps fight under control, while
Bernard looks little scary to get cut from a single snicky power slap.

 

how do you figure when b-hop landed the only punches of the exchange and his defense negated joes offense (he dodged the slaps and countered)

 

the only legally landed shot was the headbut (after which Bernard should get a worning at least), the last shot hardly was landed ... it slipped both Joe chin and arm

 

Joe Calzaghe deserves all my respect as a professional fighter and as a man. It's hard to take a shot like he took from Bernard in the first round and still swallow it, keep his cool and work his way to a fair points decision... It means that Joe is mature, self-confident and tough. It really doesn't matter if Calz faces Pavlik or not - Joe C, Roy Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins, Kelly Pavlik, those are always the best names in those divisions no matter who is most disliked or loved...

 

If you cant find a 2 second clip to make a fighter look good or bad in a 12 round fight you aint trying. Congratulation on finding a clip where Bernard actually threw a punch. Best shot in that was Nards headbutt but hey.
