How the **** me being a fan of Pacquiao has anything to do with my opinion of Joe Calzaghe I'll never understand. The two things are completely unrelated. I love Pacquiao simply because I think he is brilliant to watch. I know he has his flaws. I am a fan of many fighters of many different styles, the only thing they all have in common is that throughout their whole careers they showed a desire to chase the big fights, take on the most dangerous opponents around, and take risks to prove their greatness.

    "Never world class opposition"

Find me a champion at 168 from 1998 onwards that Joe Calzaghe hasn't beaten or beaten someone who has beaten them or beaten someone who has beaten someone who beat them.

    Then **** off and die.

Jesus you really are blinded by hate. Reid never world class? Olympic bronze, WBC champ with multiple defenses isnt world class? **** yourself.

Eubank and Woodhall were what? 32? That is hardly zimmer frame material.

Brewer and Mitchell adequate? These are world champs you are talking about.

How did Veit turn out to be a tricky fight for joe either time? The guy got ****ing slaughtered, once when unbeaten and the next time on a 15 fight win streak.

Keep telling yourself Hopkins hugging won the fight and go watch MMA. One man came to fight the other came to survive and maybe get lucky. A few nice counters and **** all else in 12 rounds dont win fights vs some continually outlanding you. So yes, you have proven yourself an irrational hater.

Mind you, Reid and Brewer did actually beat him and Joe beat them so um well yeah.

you have done nothing but **** on calzaghe since you joined this forum with your new/latest username, don't be suprised when you catch a little flak from his fans even when you try and tone down your hostile nature towards him.

Havent seen a better post on this site yet. agree 100% with everything, its about time some one stated clear facts rather than putting there fan thoughts in writing like most of the hopkins "he got screwed, at home and in his weight choosing" its b.s and getting very boring. If Brewer and Mitchell hadnt got screwed against Ottke, Joe would have unified the titles years ago and if B-pops hadnt have changed his mind at the 12th hour, he would have beaten him a long time ago too, again nice post pugilist.

Have you ever even considered this my learned friend??? That not everyone who has ever held a version of the world title, 1 version out of the main 4, may not exactly be a world class, or even very good, boxer?? If you want examples of them, I'll give you a dozen. I think this is a point that most people on here would agree with. It's obvious, unless u r a ****ing inbred.

    Get it this time muesli??

And I never said or meant garbage, just not a world class standard fighter. A decent European level boxer who briefly held 1 version of a world title. Wow, what a glittering name on the resume for Joe.

Like your hilarious avatar pic? Man, you're zany. Grow up and go watch some footage of Pernell Whitaker or Roy Jones Jr if you want to see a true great. Calzaghe is not and never will be in the same galaxy.

it seems you are the one starting all the petty name calling because some people hold a differing opinion to yourself. your username would suggest you were born in 1984, making you 12/13 when Joe beat Eubank - which leads me to believe you don't know what the **** you're talking about for that period and a few years after.
