I'm inclined not to believe it because Nelson did after all retire, and has stayed retired...if he was just dodging Enzo then he would've fought on.

It wouldn't surprise me. Johnny Nelson would have beaten Enzo easily and FW knew this.

Nelson would have UD Enzo with ease. Macca has faced one top 10 cruiserweight and that went very badly.

WBO 200 title up for grabs, but loads of worthy challengers hanging around who can hit. The future is not so hot for Enzo. Unless Frank can get rid of that dangerous vacant challenger and subscribe to the Calzaghe school of mandatory defences.

I wouldn't believe a word Herbie Hide said if I had a gun to my head to be honest, the guy is such a clown.

Perhaps Warren did pay Nelson to step a side - but he was injured pretty bad apparently and has since done nothing, so Herbie is perhaps talking bollocks. Yet again.

    Nelson 118-110 Maccarinelli

Nelson would have stood Enzo on his head. Enzo as like most Warren fighters got a bly. Either way Hides talking ****. This guy doesnt even know his left from his right.

Totally agree - Enzo is only effective against guys who he wont have to go looking for....

Nelson would have way too much speed and savvy for him - wide UD or late stoppage I would say

Who probably hits hardest, Nelson, Haye or Hide?

Either Haye or Hide - at this stage you would have to say Hide. A genuine cruiser stopping every heavy he ever beat isn't a mean effort.

Nelson could punch but was more of a cumulative puncher capable of wearing his opponents down before stopping them

A prime Nelson schools Enzo, but the last time I saw Nelson fight I think his opponent was Cantatore the Italian. I'd back Enzo to beat that version of Nelson.

Wouldn't surprise me if fish eye's was buying titles for his bums.
