A purely logical argument for why Wilder is better than AJ

I never said AJ was better than Fury ever. Lol. You attack me with lies but don't refute anything I wrote. I get it now, you're a troll.

 

Found my oldest take on Fury v Joshua. @Serge Don't ban me for Quoting myself...

 

Wilder probably sparks AJ, AJ does better against the ATG's. AJ has an okay chin and defense. It won't hold up against ATG punchers like Frazier or Foreman, but I imagine he could last 12 against Ali even if he got outboxed all 12. Wilder will only do well against ATGs with shaky chins, which I can't think of right now.

 

I still think AJ has a very good chance to beat Fury, I don’t rate Fury high. What did he do? Beat 40yo shot wlad by landing a few weak ass slaps and running, he then was caught juicing , ran from rematch with old wlad ,then was able to beat that bum wilder, then went life and death with ATG wallin !!! Wow that is impressive . Actually I am most impressed with his love handles , still can’t comprehend how can man’s hips be wider than his shoulders.

 

Wilder might survive one of Joshuas power shots but he would get stunned. And he would not stand up to the bombardment to come right after. He would get ragdolled in The clinch and most likely get draged into a signature AJ uppercut.

The one who lands first wins. And it tends to be the better boxer.

 

AJ is definitely more dangerous, especially with that uppercut at close range. I'd have it 60/40 in AJs favor to beat Wilder unless Wilder massively improves his arsenal.

 

Joshua is better in every single department except power (right hand only).

Both have shaky chins, but at least Joshua has been rocked by legit opponents, Wilder gets rocked by bums like Molina.

The fact you need to hypothesise about what would happen in this match up after Wilder has received numerous offers and admitted turning them down to fight for less, tells us everything we need to know.

Joshua is a level or two above and Wilder knows that.

 

Fact is we don't know who would win for sure because they have never fought and probably never will. Both sides can state opinions and make claims but that's all they really are if we are honest.

What we do know for sure is when Wilder was offered the highest purse he was ever offered and will ever be offered, dwarfing his entire career earnings then and even now, he ducked Joshua and took the fight vs a then regarded as a washed up Fury for far less money.

This fight will be seen like Lewis/Bowe a big fight that should of happened that never did and where one fighter clearly ducked the other and who's paper thin resume will with time be looked on harshly by future fans while the other will probably be at worst be seen as a solid champion, not the best but at least tried to make the best fights.

 

That's the rationale many were applying when discussion of this matchup was rife a few years back. I just didn't/don't think it was quite that straightforward. Wilder can be hurt, but I believe he has the innate will, survival instincts and toughness to survive a prolonged taste of Joshua's power (within reason, of course). Joshua certainly possesses measures of the same intangibles, but lesser measures in my estimation, and is at a power deficit in this matchup besides (a situation he isn't often in).

Spit his mouth piece and quit against a light punching morbid obese midget and choked like a deer in the head lites against another light punching old ex cruiser.....

Boxing is 80 % mental and 20 % physical ...........AJ's aint a born fighter, has some not curable mental problems whenever somebody shows up to win.
