Not a bad top ten with the exception of Ortiz and Old Man Rivas. Chisora and Helenius probably deserve both their spots.
It's perfect from C-4. I think Parker is too high but I would rather veterans like him, Whyte, Ruiz, and Ortiz--guys who have competitive world class experience--get the nod over relative newcomers like Joyce. The division is pretty weak, though, and with all sorts of prospects coming up through the ranks--Yoka, Hrgovic, Sanchez, Ajagba, Makhmudov, etc.--it's going to be a revolving door for years to come.
More or less accurate. Ortiz and Rivas haven't done much lately to be ranked there, but until the likes of Hrgovic, Yoka, Gassiev, Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez step up, there aren't really any better options.
Fury is going to knock Wilder out and knock him off the list in two weeks. Good riddance. They should start calling Fury the Garbage Man for taking out the trash.
Whyte, Parker, Ortiz and Ruiz should all be behind Hunter and Joyce. It's questionable if Ortiz belongs there. Rivas without question definitely doesn't belong there. My humble list: Champ: Fury (obviously) 1. Usyk (undisputed CW champ, unified HW champ no loss) 2. Joshua (former unified champ, 2 losses) 3. Hunter (top level, 1 loss 2nd best HW) 4. Wilder (destroyed twice by champ, not active) 5. Joyce (steady progress, undefeated) 6. Whyte (good record, knocked unconscious recently, very precarious showings) 7. Parker (looked bad lately) 8. Ruiz (looked bad against a semi retired top 20 guy) 9. Ortiz (slumped twice, not active, retired?
I don't think you're aware of the bet miniq made re. the Usyk fight, because he's deliberately talking out of his arse lol.
I would swap Wilder and Joshua. If Fury is #1 and Usyk is #2, then you should be penalized less for losing to #1 than to #2. Compounding that is the fact that Joshua is 2-2 in his last four whereas Wilder is 2-1-1 in his last four.
You're putting way too much stock in Hunter's loss against Usyk, which happened way back in 2017 at cruiserweight He's done virtually nothing noteworthy at heavyweight aside from drawing with old man Povetkin 2 years ago That being said I do think Hunter gives the division's top HWs a tough fight.
I'm very high on Hunter but not solely off his showing against Usyk. IMO he's simply more complete than most of the other HW's given what I've seen to date.
