Highly doubt they're gonna hold the rematch anywhere but the UK. Unless it's stipulated in the contract that if Usyk wins, it's in the Ukraine.

Too soon, there's a possibility that AJ won't be fully recovered physically from the beatdown he received the 12th, much less mentally. But fine, get it over with and out of the way. Clears the way for a unificiation.

These rematches are tiresome. I'd rather see unification.

    It's going to be chilly.

    Nothing like February in Kiev.

Recovered? He lost a 12-round decision. He got a black eye.

The thing that may not fully recover in a couple months before camp is Usyk's cut. He got about 10 stitches over the eye.

Yeah, a black eye, that's why he went and slumped down in his corner looking dazed and confused, that took a lot more out of him than you seem to realize. In all likelihood he was concussed again, he seemed wobbly for the last few rounds anyway. There was definitely more going on with his eye than just a shiner, you don't lose vision in your eye for 4 rounds from a mere black eye. I mean, Fury's eyebrow was basically hanging off against Otto Wallin for 11 rounds and he never lost sight in it. Whereas Usyk... yeah, that's just a few cuts.

Journalist: "Has the fight date been set yet?"

    Bodybuilder: "February."

    Journalist: "Where?"

    Bodybuilder: "It's in Kiev, Ukraine."

    Eddie Hearn: "Are you nuts?"

AJ's team is absolutely moronic for implementing the strategy they did.

Joshua needs to stun, not even hurt, but stun Usyk ONCE in the UK, bully him to the ropes, throw 30 punches that mostly miss, and the ref is british stoppaging that thing into the history books.

1000 articles will be printed that day about how "boxing is a dangerous and brutal sport. Can we, the public, really ask referees to wait longer before stopping a bout?"

    Joshua becomes an ATG.

Now he has to fight on foreign soil with a neutral ref and judging? Brutal.

I think Joshua is up for a rematch, I just can't believe he and his team didn't go for the slam dunk for a british stoppage when they had the chance.

Usyk team has to push them to organize the fight, and on top of that, to be in either in Kiev or in neutral place.
Let's keep it real here guys. Usyk will need a KO to secure a draw. And the first time Joshua connect with a decent punch the referee will jump and stop the fight ....
They know that Usyk is way way too hard to handle.

Usyk just said he wants May-June. I wouldn't mind seeing this but I doubt it.
