Just second after Canelo. Canelo gonna batter Plant worse than Usyk's beating on AJ. Usyk can't surpass him. But second place is still very well.

I think it's fair to compare Usyk's resume to Alvarez's from 2018 on:

    Oleksandr Usyk
    Briedis**
    Gassiev**
    Bellew
    Witherspoon
    Chisora
    Joshua**

    Saul Alvarez
    Golovkin II**

    Fielding
    Jacobs**
    Kovalev**
    Smith**
    Yildrim
    Saunders*
    Plant (Pending)**

    - Bold indicates Lineal Championship match
    - ** indicates top-5 opponent
    - * indicates top-10 opponent
    - Rankings from TBRB

I think there's one thing I want to add regarding how Usyk can be the universally regarded P4P #1 King. I know there is a lot of debate with many people regarding if Usyk should be P4P #1 or #2. Usually, the consensus is pretty clear when fighters defeat another top 10 P4P fighter like many great P4P Hall of Famers previously like Hopkins's win over Trinidad,; Mayweather's win over Marquez, Canelo, and Pacman; Pacquiao's win over Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton, etc (You get the point). The only other P4P type fighter in the heavyweight division is lineal champion Tyson Fury. I know that Usyk is already a first ballot Hall of Famer in the eyes of many with the win over Joshua (along with his stellar cruiserweight career) and one of the best active fighters today but if he wants to be an ATG and the clear consensus P4P king, he needs Fury.

    1. Blatantly a PED user
    2. Paid off judges to ensure he wins fights, eg Trout, Lara, GGGx2, Floyd (114-114?)
    3. Extremely dubious win against Kovalev
It is clear that this fighter has placed himself into a situation where he can't get koed via peds and chin, and then gets the judges to hand him results. Compare that to a master boxer who has won Olympic gold and clearly defeated his opposition without a shadow of a doubt in 2 weight divisions, noting CW then was probably one of the best divisions in all of boxing.

Difficult to say. If he becomes undisputed he'd be #1, but right now I'd say number 2 under Canelo because Canelo is champ in 5 weight classes and seems to be able to fight 3-4 times a year.

Using the criteria that matters - dominance & quality of opposition - Usyk is #1.

Canelo has lots of depth but his best (unchallenged) win is Danny Jacobs.

Usyk just spanked an excellent heavyweight. He's officially separated himself from the herd.

Number 1 for me, he was already top 3 for me any way with his run and cruiser so him proving himself at worse as a top 2 heavyweight, that's enough to get him to the top spot.

Canelo is proven multiple time PED Cheat, 500% lost both of his bout against GGG, and he 900% lost one of the bout against Trout/Lara.
He also get schooled by Floyd.
He is a well known weight bully, and he is a well known deck stacker with ridiculous clause to his opponents.
He also fought exclusively in America, and start every match with 5-0 on the scorecards, and you need a KO, to get a draw against him.
F***** Olympic Gold Champion, destroying everyone on the road.
    Usyk beats GÅ‚owacki in Poland
    Usyk beats Huck in Germany
Usyk beats Hunter in the States
    Usyk beats Briedis in Latvia
    Usyk beats Gassiev in Russia
    Usyk beats Joshua in UK

He won ALL of his ********* belts on his opponents backyard. No one in the ******* history in this sport has ever done this.
There is not a single fight on Usyk resume, where you can even MAKE a case, no matter how biased you are, that he was even a close to losing.

Therefor there is no ******** contest who the f******* is the Number 1 P4P fighter in the world !!!
Whoever even try to claim anything else, should go visit a doctor straight away.

You are a biased midget. You cannot debat that Canelo has a win over GGG, cause he doesn't, simple as that.
GGG beats him twice in a competitive, but CLEAR WINS !!! The fights was not close at all.

    Go get a help.
    Canelo is nowhere near Usyk.

Usyk IMO... But it's not a strong placing. I'm personally not sure if it will be sustained for long.

Made this post hoping that we can have a mature discussion on where Usyk ranks P4P. It's really sad to see that you're taking this so personally. Not trying to start beef with anybody but can we please respect each other's opinions? I am definitely not disrespecting your opinion and I appreciate that I get to see your perspective. I just ask that you be more mature, thanks.
