I still say Joshua. I imagine Wilder's (5 or 6) fans will say him. I suppose a case can be made for Ruiz. We can throw Joyce, Parker, Whyte and Hunter in there for the heck of it. I can't imagine anyone else would be considered. Please vote!
I previously favored Wilder over AJ, but with Joshua becoming more and more safety first, I’m certain Wilder would beat him. The aggressive, KO artist, version of AJ from a few years ago would have had more of a chance.
It's still Joshua but he does seem to be regressing. The new more cautious Joshua seems far less effective than the old seek and destroy Joshua from a few years back, granted he's fighting far better opponents these days but he's not looked good for a while.
Easily Joshua. He's more active, unified the belts, and faces better opposition consistently. If AJ were to lose again I'd understand him being lower, but until then he's the obvious choice for number 3.
Joshua and it's not even close. Who else could be 3rd? Wilder? His resume sucks even Whyte arguably has a better resume, Andy Ruiz has a better win than anything on Wilder record. Plus he's clearly ducked the 3 biggest threats during his time, Wlad, Povetkin and then Joshua. Whyte? Nope already lost to Joshua. He has a decent resume but not compared to Joshua. Andy Ruiz? Well he split fights with Joshua but beyond that Joshua beat Parker, Ruiz lost to him and AJ's resume is far, far deeper.
Would love to hear the justification for putting Wilder 3rd from those who picked Wilder. Let me guess, the loss to Ruiz? Which was avenged in a dominant one sided shut out?
Joshua is 3rd due to resume, but I’m perfectly fine with people putting Wilder above him. I don’t think there’s a lot in it If a fight between him and Wilder were to take place right now, I’d favour Wilder
1. Fury 2. Usyk 3. Wilder/Aj interchangeable depending on who you think would beat the other, AJ has a better resume but i actually think Wilder beats AJ but both men seem compromised.
I voted for Wilder simply for the fact that I’ve always said that Wilder is all wrong for Joshua and brutally KOs him early. As well as the fact that Wilder has only lost to one fighter in the top 10 where as Joshua has now lost to two . We can all say this fighter loses to that one etc etc but until they have actually fought it’s just our own opinions so it’s all very subjective tbh .
