Confession: Adam Smith is the best boxing commentator in the world in my opinion.

    Everyone seems to hate the geezer but I geniunely think he is the best commentator out there. He is mostly unbiased, knows his boxing, has good vocabulary and makes very good use of it, he geniunely loves the sport and you can hear the passion in his voice whenever he's on the commentary team.

    I don't get the hate towards him, he's made some werid ****ing comments before like saying "Bellew's bomber tattoo has nothing to do with the Manchester Bombings" but 99% of the time hes entertaining and spot on.

    He is okay, isn't that annoying. It would be cool if they got Jim Watt to commentate again.

    I think he's a decent commentator although Ian Darke back in the day was even better.

    I don't mind him at all. Good voice, enthusiastic, knowledgable. He says really stupid things sometimes, or really weird things at others but I think it makes him endearing.

    How about a compilation of his best and strangest quotes? Favourite words?

    Struggling to think off the top of my head.

    'The legs of Joshua look strong ... and sturdy ...' He has a habit of complimenting fighter's bodies.

    'DOWN ... GOES ... THE RUSSIAHN!', 'And AJ!', made me cringe.

    I preferred the Sky team with Froch and Malignaggi only recently. And several other teams in earlier fights. Macklin is pretty dreary.

    For favourite words, he described Usyk as 'beautiful' in several variations.

    I laugh when people say Roy jones is a good commentator hes not

    I like Mauro Ranallo and believe it or not Paulie Malignaggi who can talk super fast but is coherent and competent.

    Mike Costello is the best active commentator. His BBC Radio 5 Live commentaries were way above the other commentators. Can't even believe this is a debate. It's not even close.
