I think a lot of people in the general forum who go on about how unbeatable the modern big heavyweights are can't admit they were wrong, so i am not surprised to see mental gymnastics here.

Holyfield was smaller than Ali with shorter arms. And he was 37 and past his prime. (In comparison, the late blooming 34 year old Lewis was in his prime). Yet a smaller past his best Holyfield gave Lewis a competitive fight. Its absolutely absurd to pretend that Holmes or Ali wouldn't have done better here.

There is a reason why we have the famous saying-

"A good big man will always beat a good small man"

Usyk and Tyson are the exceptions that prove the rule

Pretty cool that Usyk wore a shirt with a cross on it. I noticed him cross himself after winning but hadn't noticed the shirt before.

Great video. Thanks for mentioning the crap camera work. Say what you will about HBO, they had a well oiled production machine. Great shout out to the oldies. This fight demonstrates that you can't count out the old champs in this age of the super heavies.

At this point I'm starting to think he's just trolling us all with his predictions.

I rank Holyroids over Ali and Holmes H2H.

    Usyk>Povetkin>Holyfield>Holmes>Ali

    lol.

A 37 year old Holyfield (less than a year away from struggling vs Ruiz) is better than a 25 year old peak Ali or a 31 year old peak Holmes.? LOL

The same Holmes, who even in this 40's, managed to take a few rounds from peak Holyfield. The same Holmes who outboxed Ray Mercer in his 40's, the Mercer who went life and death with a prime Lewis.

I needed that laugh. And lol at Povetkin over Holmes and Ali.

I just rewatched the fight, and Joshua actually did ok in the middle rounds when he started timing Usyk with that untelegraphed straight right, and right to the body. But from the ninth onwards Usyk just stepped it up about five gears and totally took Joshua out of contention. Not sure what Joshua can do in the rematch save go like a savage to Usyk's body from the opening and try to hurt him enough to get something to land upstairs. It's the one weak part of Usyk's defence, body shots. He's like Chong Li. Weak in the gut.

But in all likelihood Usyk stamps AJ's shin out of his leg, palm strikes his neck and jump stomps his helpless body, while Eddie Hearn looks on from the sidelines screaming "Stoooppp! Nooooo!!!"

Ali struggled with featherfists. Povetkin would spark him out same treatment goes for Holmes.

Tell us again how favouring a fighter Ali's size over a fighter Joshua's size is like favouring a welterweight over a light heavyweight, bum.
