actually i hate Aj but i think he can win the rematch but he has to gain wait and come out like a toughman contest. Same with wilder.
Yes it's possible if he avoids the immediate Usyk rematch and fights 2 tune ups to mentally recover and get his confidence back. Then imo he'll have a chance against Usyk and Fury and get the belts back although he won't be the favorite. But he won't do this. He's ****ed himself trying to fight Usyk again immediately, he's going to get KO'd and im glad. This loss is keeping the Joshua fanboys down and nothing could make me happier besides Fury loosing and his fanboys being shut up
You’ve pretty much explained Wilder after the Fury fight, did you advise him doing the same thing? He has no chance as well.
Wilder can always land that murderous right hand on the chin and KO Fury, we saw him almost do it in the first fight. Usyk's chin is too good for Joshua's overrated punching power. I tried to tell certain Joshua fanboys that Usyks solid chin is not to be written off against Joshua. Even will all of this in mind i still thought Joshua would win but it's clear he's not elite and he doesn't posses the ring iq to flip tactics mid fight
But Wilder got smashed in his last fight, why doesn’t he need warm ups to regain his confidence like you’re saying to AJ? If Joshua isn’t elite and doesn’t have the ring iq compared to Usyk (I agree) what good will not having the rematch straight away do?
Because Wilder never lost his confidence. He was never really more gunshy than usual against Fury. Joshua got TKO'd by Ruiz and has been more gunshy ever since. He was gunsy against stiff Pulev minus round 3, gunshy against Ruiz in the 2nd fight and gunshy against Usyk even though he clearly hurt Usyk with bodyshots and could have built on it. He's lost his confidence. He's mentally in shambles. He needs tune up fights to recover or else he'll never be a champion again.
Actually, I think it's good enough to absorb a single Joshua power punch but if he got hit with 2 or 3 quickly Usyk might be in trouble. I mean, he isn't Oliver McCall, AJ hurt him a couple of times with single shots and Joshua never landed the uppercut on him. Chisora seemed to hurt him also so he's no George Chuvalo. If Joshua fights the right tactics he can beat Usyk. It's a BIG IF right now though, for several reasons, but never say never. Joshua never imposed his physical advantages on Usyk, instead fought his fight instead. The Joshua that fought Wlad would have a much better chance but will we see that version again? AJ is definitely afraid of getting hit now and seems to clam up when he takes a big punch. He will always have to take chances to win and getting tagged is part of that. Ironically, the correct way for Joshua to fight Wilder is more in line with how he fought Usyk. For Usyk it had to be more like the Wlad/Whyte fight performances. Joshua's team has to take some of the blame for this. Clearly they underestimated Usyk and paid a heavy price for it. Ideally, Joshua would have taken a tune up fight to get a morale boosting KO but taking the immediate rematch makes sense too. But only if he wins..
He can bounce back onto his gay lover but other than that he is desperately outmatched in his one advantage he has relied on. Athleticism. He is 1/2 as athletic as a true Athlete like Usyk.
