Taylor isn't well advertised, doesn't looks that have PR machine and padding like some other U.K boxers.
US promotions not likely will need some champ not from US, sorry for reality.

Promoters like Eddie might had launched PR campaign and ad campaign to tur him into a ppv star.
Why not, he does have bunch with belts.

If they might hope to turn Campbell Hatton, Conor Benn into ppv stars?
Up coming future ppv stars like Okolie, Buatsi ( yeah, Eddie loves this idea ).
    Why not to add Taylor?

He's getting a bit more decent exposure now after Undisputed - and as it should be! I mean can you imagine if he was English???

But he's been on A League of their Own, and did some punditry on the Usyk / AJ show on Saturday and came across really well I thought. He seemed to be the only one willing to even suggest that Usyk might actually win.

Usyk has it a lot easier than Taylor will have it if he steps up. If Taylor can go through 147 and come out on top, I will appreciate him much more than Usyk.

Taylor is good, but not as good as brits want him to be.

He will lose to top 3 of the welterweights.

Nah. I think he needs to beat Tank then move up and beat Kell Brook, Danny Garcia and one of Crawford or Spence - then that's a similar trajectory. I say one of Crawford or Spence because AJ, for Usyk, wasn't that skilled.

All I want is the Taylor - Davis fight. Tank obliterates him.

Josh Taylor might have gone under the radar in the UK mainstream media because:

    1. He's not fighting at a glamour weight.
    2. He's Scottish and more specifically not from London.
    3. He left Shane McGuigan's stable.
    4. He joined MTK, viewed with a bit of suspicion as to their background links to a certain Irish gangster.

Some or all of the above might have been a factor. He's also quite aggressive and confrontational over social media although I agree with others that he came over pretty well as a pundit for the AJ vs Usyk Sky promotion.

It's hard to say how he will get on at 147. He's big enough and has spite in his punches, though he will get hit by the bigger punchers at the weight and it's how he can handle that extra size and power that's the key. My gut feeling is he won't turn out as great as Usyk but still a very good fighter who could become even better. Certainly a British ATG already.

    LOL.
Taylor is from U.K and unlike Usyk, most likely might easily get his next title fights in U.K : he does have U.K passport, Usyk is from Ukraine.
This alone is big factor here.
Tank did not had obliterated even no one hard punching 135 lbs division boxer.
Best Tank's win is shot old over the hill " single legged " Gamboa.
Damn, how dumb boxing business is.
He does have 5 belts @ 140 lbs division : The Ring, WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF belts.
With this might be enough to sell with him ppvs globally with title fights at 140 lbs alone.
Why not? Undisputed fights are sold better than casual title fights. Ppl love this stuff.

With good PR machine he might be good ppv fighter even if he stays @ 140 lbs.
