Sky Sports without PL rights couldn't charge much more than a fiver a month.

 

This has been a decent competitive fight and Brown surely winning by at least 3

I'm sure Amazon could rival sky for the rights if they really wanted to.

Decent fights so far. Just need to cut out the gimmicky stuff and every fighter has a story/journey to tell.

 

Maybe, can't see it though Amazon aren't really interested in Sport they make the odd foray into it but it's only occasional. Traditional terrestrial TV is still the king of Sports broadcasting for the time being anyway.

Decent fight BTW between Brown and Le Doux, right man won.

 

I thought the card was about right , despite Smith & Macklin trying to convince us that that was a competitive fight, it really wasn't.

Be interested to see the exit poll heat map , see if it backs up my opinion.

Not sure how many times i've done this before during any boxing on any TV but I'm switching over to the golf .

Amazon probably consider sports rights as a dead over expanded market that they will only use on occasion to boost their other markets.

They appear quite happy to rapidly expand in to new markets/industries/technology at a loss and become one of the main players but don't appear to want to move in to the older markets unless it's for marketing their other products/services.
