You reckon that was the first hurtful shot?

Another 2 -3 punches and he could have done serious damage - good stoppage

You need to watch the fight again - nearly every Avanesyan shot is a hurtful shot and he landed plenty in those 2 rounds.

Taylor was getting smashed to bits mate, top reffing there he was out stiff as a board the ropes stopped him folding like a deck of cards.

It might have looked premature but on replay it was only the ropes that kept Liam upright. There was no point in letting him get hurt any more than he was.

Seems early on the first watch but the replay shows a perfect stoppage. That was a perfect stoppage. Good job ref.

No because it's a boxing fight. It was the first one he looked in trouble though.

I don't see the point in these mismatches being made though and allowed then the first wobbling shot resulting in the referee jumping in.

It's almost as if taylor was expected to just run around for 6 rounds taking punishment then fall over when he's had enough.

    Agreed, first class refereeing.
Aha, no it's quite a bit bigger than than this - Crawford v Porter. On Sky Sports Arena too - not Box Office.

Very good two rounds of boxing - this is perhaps what Joshua needs to bring for Usyk 2.

Also disagree Taylor met him in the centre and was throwing with him. Brilliant 2 rounds but Taylor's chin couldn't hold up.
