Usyk and Haye at cruiser is a true 50-50 fight

Haye with a good performance against Usyk on an off night and Haye could win. Anything else then Usyk pretty comfortably.

 

Usyk has the style to really show Hayes lack of fundamentals, especially his balance. This wouldn’t be pretty for him

 

I personally think Haye is a little underrated by most because he fell apart so soon, he had serious KO power and was a dangerous counter puncher if you came to him.

Problem is Usyk isn't the type to go right at Haye, Usyk's style is all wrong for Haye, he'll be forced to press like vs Wlad and will end up just waiting for opportunities to counter, missing and then getting countered himself. Usyk probably stops him.

 

Agreed - Haye is too much of a one-trick pony for him to cause Usyk much problems I think.

Haye's biggest problem is how badly his resume has aged - as much because he "talked the talk, but couldn't walk the walk". His biggest/best wins were probably Mormeck and Macarinelli at Cruiser, and Valuev and Chisora at HW. No offence to Mormeck and big Enzo but don't think they would have got past the 1st round of the WBSS Usyk was in.

Haye vs. Mormeck, that was a "true" 50:50 fight. That was Haye's level. Good, but never great. Usyk is operating in a completely galaxy to Haye's.

 

IMO Haye is extremely overrated,

Usyk is above him in all aspects of the game except possibly power.

 

Uysk schools Haye, Haye would give up half way through the fight.

Gassiev vs Haye is more a 50/50 fight, hayes quicker but Gassiev is tougher, haye has stamina problems, i think gassiev can outlast him.
Hunter is better than Haye, with a better chin. Decision for Hunter
Dorticos could KO Haye, but i give Haye the advantage because better defense.

Prime Cunningham vs Haye would be a close fight. Haye may win on a KD

Usyk is on another level from Haye.

Haye would (maybe) have a puncher's chance, and that didn't pan out for AJ, who is better than Haye.



So, to fix the OP's OP...

Usyk and Haye at cruiser is a true 90-10 fight

 

95-5

 

I also think Haye gets undervalued, but he just isn't in Usyk's league.

Haye has a legacy, and he deserves it.
