it's real odd a guy like Louis who tiptoed had bad defense and people think him tiptoeing which they call saving energy is a way to beat George and compares max which like you showed was trash compared to George odd that they even compare max it's so easy to see George was way better then him
I'm still waiting on how the examples listed below make this a stylistic nightmare for Foreman Louis vs. Max Foreman vs. Lyle Max can't hold a candle to Foreman, and they fight nothing alike Foreman wasn't at his best vs. Lyle Lyle and Louis is not the best comparison to make. That is not apples to apples Yet this is the evidence of the stylistic nightmare? Somebody do tell.
Well other than perhaps stamina, yes Foreman is better than Baer in every single category that's not even a debate.
Thats not true and I have to correct myself. Max Baer was also better at blocking punches with his face. He couldn´t extend this longer than George, but certainly included this style into his "fight acts" more often.....
I mean you can just list each stat: jab, cross, body punching, defense, finishing ability, combinations, parrying, etc and make a poll. Baer isn't winning any of them unless they're die hard fanboys or 80 year old men with nostalgia.
Louis does better than Frazier, but worse than Ali. Lyle caught Foreman at a career low; Zaire had ruined him. I think Louis performs comparably against Foreman pre-Zaire.
