What if he did Usyk in the rematch like Louis did Schmeling? No one would see that coming.

You seem unaware that Fury was signed up to fight him this summer but had to cancel because Widler refused to step aside.

Last era--easily beats Valuev and Briggs
Era before that--Ruiz, Old ass Holyfield
    Mid 90s--Ancient Foreman, shot Bowe
    Tyson era--beats obese Douglas, Bonecrusher
Holmes era--Geriatric Ali to become lineal, out of shape Tubbs and Page
    70s--Spinks, late 70s Ali
    Late 60s--Ellis
    60s--Terrel
    Before that--Patterson
    Before that--Marciano
    Before that--Schmeling
    Everyone before that.

I can't find that handful of eras you speak of. A handful is 5.

I thought it was contracted in the 2nd fight that the loser got a third fight if he wanted but would be on the short end of a 60 -40 split? It went to court and wilder won? am i wrong?
And as it stands now I do not see AJ even being warranted a fight after being schooled even with the height weight and reach adv he had ... Fury would stop AJ early

His lack of a fighters mentality is the only thing he's missing and it's the thing that will forever keep him from being great

Either way Joshua was signed up for Fury and Fury had the issue.

Maybe but you never know. I go on record saying the Usyk fight would be more difficult for Joshua that the Fury fight simply because Usyk is a much smaller target, moves around more, has a better chin than Fury, and has significantly quicker hands. Joshua looked like trash against Usyk and i favor Fury to stop Joshua but im telling you now if he goes on to beat Fury don't be suprised.

as he did in Ruiz 1 ...Has AJ ever conceded the height and reach adv? , i think he was even with Wlad ,, but not against Ruiz and Usyk ,, Fury will steam roll him as easy as he did Wilder
I've admittedly been hard on Fury because of the competition , but skill wise he is at least 1 tier above AJ and wilder,
He is so confident and that has faded with the other 2 ... Supposedly Wilder has learned all these new mad new skills now.. we will see
Im starting to like Fury a little bit now , he reminds me Tyson a bit in the delivery
been watching some interviews .. Here he says I'm a boxer and I will steam roll that body builder ..

A common thing with Ruiz and Usyk is both are shorter, small targets with faster hands. Fury is none of the above. And Fury going straight at Joshua early means has fighting a mid range counterpunching Joshua with a full gas tank, not a one trick pony who only throws a right hand. I think Fury should just outbox him and then put it on him when he gasses.

Fury probably will beat him but im just saying, don't be suprised if Joshua actually beats Fury.

This is key. He hadn't finished developing as a fighter when he won his first strap. He should been fighting every 3 to 4 months as a minimum to finish his apprenticeship but he ended up fighting 1 or 2 times a year. Not nearly enough for a fighter who was still green.

Are you serious in suggesting that the bodybuilder beats Fury? Well that would have to do more with Fury's lifestyle again, righ?

I was talking about the title- a top ten ranking in the alphabet era usually comes with at least one belt. I've already said he's top ten material in any era.

To rephrase: I think there are a handful of eras where he would not be in the conversation for being one of the very best in his class (as he was not too long ago with Fury). This disqualifies near-meaningless, hypothetical wins over a Parkinson's-afflicted Ali or the whale that showed up for Holyfield. I'm specifically referring to Louis, Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Lewis & Klitschko. Of the champions that didn't have an era of their own, I'd favor Schmeling, Baer, Charles, Liston, Foreman, et cetera to varying degrees. There are also several belt holders and contenders, most notably in the 90's, that I'd install as favorites.

Yes it's a decent possibility although he wouldn't be the favorite mostly due to his glass chin. Joshua won't beat Usyk, i thought Joshua would win but i knew Usyk had traits that would have given him major problems ever since Joshua got a gift decision against Erislandy Savon so Usyk schooling him was no surprise. I kept telling people Joshua is not Chisora which is also why i knew it wouldn't be easy for Aj. Like i said i go on record saying Usyk would be a harder fight for Joshua than Fury.

Fury is not Usyk. Go and look at that 2nd Wilder fight. Fury is nowhere near as fast as Usyk and he's sloppy on the front foot compared to Usyk and open for counters, punches that Wilder is technically incapable of using. Usyk has quicker feet, probes more, moves around more, feints more, is a significantly smaller target, has better footwork, a better chin and is a better counter puncher than Fury. Usyk also arguably has better head movement. Fury has power, size, reach and better infighting abilites over Usyk. Thats it.

Joshua tried to box with Usyk and thought his size could overcome the gap in skill. It didn't work whatsoever, but i knew before anyone else in the forum that he would try this tactic because he didn't want to risk gassing late against Usyk. You can look at my posting history. Joshua would not attempt this against Fury because he knows he stands zero chance in a chess match. He saw the Klitschko fight. If he fought Fury he would be looking to work the body and knock him out. I favor Fury but I'd give Joshua a decent chance. Fury isn't as untouchable as you think
