I'll leave this one up to @McGrain since this is 100% his realm, whereas I'm a General Forum, British Boxing and Lounge guy,

Hahahahaha! Why so butt-hurt. Show me when there has even been a Congo parade or Nigeria parade. You'll never meet a Black person who says they are Nigerian-American, unless they REALLY do have recent heritage from Nigeria.

Just give me one picture of Black Americans throwing a Nigeria or Congo parade. And I will say you are right.

Oh, you have a friend! Well that solves everything.
    Show me a Welsh parade.

Jim Driscoll's parents were Irish and he was long associated with his Catholic parish. That's right from the Wikipedia page, which potentially faulty, is at least more reliable than you having a friend.

If Jim Driscoll identified as Irish Catholic why does it bother you?

Now tell me what city the Welsh built. Chicago? Pittsburgh? New York? Philadelphia? San Francisco? I would love to attend one of their parades and do.... Welsh things... like... um... ya know....

    Well, just post the picture.

I'd love to see you dispute it. There seems to be a trend here of saying the most ridiculous thing possible to get attention, so your post will be par for the course.

If the truth bothers you so much, why post on the internet? I notice you made no effort to dispute anything stated. Just ad hominem attacks. Very convincing. Yes, I am the one left feeling like a "buffoon". Let me tell you. Your intellect is scathing.

Far more great boxers were born in Wales than Ireland.

There are more people or Irish descent living elsewhere due to the potato famine

This forum has had some really knowledgeable posters, including several of the best researchers ever in boxing history.

I'm sure they'll all be glad to know that a teenager with a duck themed username is smarter and more knowledgeable than all of them.

Who cares? Like I said, the Irish had to leave Ireland due to centuries of persecution and attempts at annihilation. The existence of Boxing is pretty much dependent on them. Similarly, Hockey, Baseball, Football and collegiate Wrestling were very much a product of their diaspora. Maybe not Wrestling, but the other sports people care about even more than Boxing. You really can't name a sport Welsh people developed can you? Everybody celebrates St. Patrick's Day and Halloween, name one Welsh holiday anyone even knows.

I am not trying to target the Welsh or anybody else, it's you Karens who brought them up. Again, if Driscoll cared about being Welsh, why was he so proud of his Irish Catholic heritage? Why do you care what he called himself? We all know youse wouldn't have the balls to tell him otherwise.
