Wilder has mentally unraveled. He hasn't learned to accept that he was outboxed in the first fight, then man handled in the second one. He believes he's gonna stop a guy that proved that if he drops him, will fight back harder against him (evidence: Fury went right back at him harder both times he was dropped).

Wilder's career is effectively over if he doesn't learn to accept defeat

Wilder is a fascinating psycho-analytic challenge.

In fairness to Wilder, he was quite complimentary of Usyk here. I think he was just referring more to the common perception that Usyk struggled or at least underwhelmed in those bouts.

Uh, you've obliged me to retrace my steps and revise this missive from a week or so back;

He thought he was supposed to be the guy with the ancestral forces at his back. It constitutes a source of disturbance and resentment to Wilder, rankles with him in the most palpably noticeable way, that Fury brings with him this folklore pedigree and this spiritual aura of centuries-old toil and tussle (which ties in with [url]Wilder's unwitting acknowledgement of the air of divine prophecy and predestiny that follows Tyson[/url]), and, moreover, that it's completely organic, a constant and abiding part of his entity, [url]whereas Wilder has had to clumsily entreat and beseech his creator for spiritual reinforcement[/url]. The nerve of this pale guy to talk about oppression, discrimination and hundreds upon hundreds of years of struggle. It gnaws deeply at Wilder. He's a credulous dope who's gone all-in on the conceit that only his people know what it is to suffer and struggle and strive. He simply cannot wrap his head around Fury in that respect, and it causes him great cognitive dissonance and inner conflict.

 

If Wilder could articulate himself better he would not be mocked like he is.

His fights are always exciting but I think he is coming to the end.

 

I wouldn't fancy being trapped with Wilder. As for Bellew, I'd just leave him alone...

Wilder is trying to convince himself at this point.

 

Never in my 50 years have I had such a deranged desire to see someone get an unholy beat down like I'm hoping, no praying to see Fury inflict on Wilder this Saturday.

Nothing permanent as I'm not quite so vindictive but, I will delight in seeing Wilders blood, sweat and snot showering the canvas prior to him getting stopped.
