After AJs defeat the other week, is anyone else now starting to favour Wilder in a match up if they ever thought?

AJ looks so scared of getting stopped nowadays that I'm starting to think Wilder might catch him in the second half of the fight and put him to sleep. Think AJ would drain himself through nervous energy while trying to box and move.

Always favoured Wilder in that matchup. Joshua has a glass jaw and can't fight off the backfoot. Brutal KO incoming.

Need to see the fight on Saturday but Wilder looks mentally shot to bits.

Decent shout. Could be two mentally shot fighters going at it. Wilder has the edge in heart, gas tank, chin and power. Joshua has QUIT before against a light punching little mexican and was nearly stopped by a pumped up cruiserweight.

He has close to zero chance surviving twelve against an elite banger like Wilder. Even the version who already went in with Prime Fury three times.

Big Josh LOVES a shot to pieces name fighter to feast on but I don't think Wilder fits the bill quite yet.

Wilder loses to Fury and he's written off completely and called a bum.

Joshua loses to Ruiz and Usyk and it's rematch this, rematch that. Ruiz was a fluke and something wrong with AJ, Usyk was wrong tactics, wrong weight bla bla.

Completely different levels. AJ is a much more well rounded boxer with much higher ring IQ. Wilder has never fought anyone with AJs power and Wilder has avoided big punchers since been dropped by 2 jourymen. There's a reason why Wilders team have voided this fight and have no faith in their man.

AJ wins by stoppage or KO in the first 3 rounds.

AJ vs the best American HW in Hunter would make much intriguing and tougher fight.

Sorry I forgot the forum number 1 rule of always predicting a matchroom fighter will always lose to another rival promoters opponent.

    AJ smokes him.

Wilder's power is a myth. He's never laid out anyone with a genuinely top notch beard, and his skills are beyond limited for someone like AJ to get caught by him.

AJ would have to come out like a man possessed though.

Wilder is ****. Yes he has power but he’s a proper poor boxer and his power is maybe overrated. I don’t think he’s KO’d anyone Joshua or even Fury wouldn’t have.

And no this isn’t because he lost to Fury, this is about the many rounds he drops to proper low level fighters. He was in serious trouble with Szpilka, dropped rounds to Molina, he was losing every round to Gerald Washington! lost every round to Ortiz (who ok is better than the others).

If AJ had a top notch beard i could understand your point, but he doesn't and the minute Wilder clips it he goes.

But yeah, josh would have to just go straight at it, but on recent form that aint going to happen.

Wilder for me, as much as i think he is a complete barmy twat, he is not afraid to have a fight.
