As long as Fury's gloves are legal, which they were in both previous fights I couldn't give two monkeys if they flap, droop, or whistle ****ING Dixie TBH.

Fury will probably choose horse hair again,
( no Lucky Heather needed here) what else considering his Gypsy lineage . ;)

At least 97% of this forum is mentally ill and a boxing a match is the last thing they should be worrying about.

Yeah. He's going to come in wearing a pair of gloves laced round his finger tips.

He wore Everlast MX in the first fight and Paffen Sport gloves in the second fight. Those Paffen Sport gloves he wore were their Mexican style fight gloves and are very similar to the MX though; both use quilted horsehair as their primary source of padding, and they both use that wrinkly style of leather. I’m glad to see someone else on here understands this about MX (and MX style) gloves. The problem is that people are trying to compare the look of gloves with latex foam padding to horsehair gloves; of course they are going to look much different. If you press down on latex foam padding, it will immediately revert back to its original shape once you stop pressing on it. With horsehair MX style gloves, it will leave an indentation in the glove after you stop pressing on it, and then it will take several minutes to go back to its original shape.

Would that even be an advantage? If it extends your reach by several inches, its not with a fist. It's only extending it with an empty portion of weak, floppy, padded glove.

If that portion of the glove is "flapping around like crazy" then I don't see how it could damage someone if they are hit by it. It's like hitting someone with a wet noodle.

I have a question. Maybe I am wrong, but are the gloves supposed to be kept for a while by the commission after a world championship so that they can be inspected if needed?

It's something I got in my head but I dont know where did it come from or if it's true or false.

    Anyone knows?

Along with numerous highly experienced professionals, including (but by no means limited to) Ishe Smith.

Don't try to pass it off like the industry at large isn't scornful of the Glovegate BS.
