She knew, she knew at least 2 or 3 days ago she wasn't hitting the weight.. we are not talking a few ounces, we are talking lbs. She even stepped off the scales and drank out of a bottle. That's all you need to see, she had no intention of making weight or even trying to get the extra off. She's just here for a payday, she doesn't care about the belt, she was on social media two weeks ago trying to sell AJ tickets at 5x the face value for her "friend". I feel the her opponent, Mitchell has made weight and has made the sacrifice so hopefully she gets the W. I have no idea why Eddie carries on with Courtenay, Ohara D got cut from Matchroom for doing far less.
That bloke is a complete clown, I have seen him a couple of times at the Stewart hotel before MSG fights for Conlan on Loma undercards. I am not remotely hard, but when he was staring at my wife and I asked if he had a problem he immediately apologised and looked at the floor. I don’t know why he acts like he does.

It’s not even a valid excuse. When women have periods they retain and gain weight if they are eating salty food for instance and other food and drink that causes them to retain water weight. Also apparently caused by increased appetite. Humans don’t gain weight unless they are eating or drinking things that results in weight gain or water retention. A fighter isn’t going to eat such foods in the week of a weigh in. Just like when she was exposed for the racist tweets she just simply is incapable of taking ownership and accountability for her actions.
Surely if this was a valid excuses then we would hardly get any women's boxing? This would happen often? This would be part of their sport? In fairness to Hearn he didn't start trying to sugar coat it, he was blunt, just said she lost her belt and will make a statement. I was sort of surprised Hearn didn't start talking about "the pressure" and "Shannons well publicised problems".
I'd give her s run for her money if their was a "dislike" option on here with some of the stuff I spout
