This is false. Ever since Margarito won the WBO title, he's been trying to get the other champions of the division to fight him, and all have declined, that includes Mayweather, Mosley, AND Forrest.

Mosley even said he would fight him.. but it never happened....

You're telling me Margarito uses his face to block punches? Oh and Cotto is just as talented as Mayweather.

Floyd will be watching because he's a boxing fan ... probably moreso than most of us on these boards and he enjoys watching fights ... I doubt that he'll be at the fight live but i'm sure that he watches this fight.

Most people don't understand because you rarley hear him talk about boxing but he's a great boxing mind.

    The Judge ...

Shane turned down a fight w/ Margarito for the WBO title a couple years back when he was on his welterweight comeback.

No i knew Floyd would win.

Its just the bull**** excuse he used for fighting Hatton when he has continously refused to fight Cotto or Margarito.

    But i do like Hatton.

    The judge ...

No matter what it was going to be a big fight ... and Shane was able bodied ... it wasn't like Shane was coming off knockout losses or something.

Shane wouldn't have fought him while he was the champion ... Shane was on another level and was fighting guys with bigger names.

I think its Arums fault and now he has to show and prove after telling Toney stories about how he's going to do this and do that ... now he has to give Margarito those big fights ... now he has to market Margarito as a welterweight elitist.

Yeah ... you do have a point but I think that Cotto isn't a jealous as Floyd than Margarito is ... he was practically begging Floyd for a fight just because he desired so much to be on that level.

Team Cotto and TopRank turned down a fight w/ Floyd at 140 and Hatton only agree to fight if it took place in England (@140)

What makes Cotto more ready now then before?

You got what you got when you first turn pro ... you learn how to throw your punches straighter and you maybe able to get in better shape and develop more speed ... but Cotto was no different then than he was now.

I never said Hatton would beat Floyd.

Mayweather bought Arum out so he wouldnt have to fight Toney. Toney even confronted Floyd at his own table and Floyd gave him a bull**** statement on needing to get paid.

Ive heard Cotto mention Floyds name, but its not Cotto's style. But it is Floyds when interviewed Floyd was saying Cotto should tell everyone who he wants to fight and not keep saying ask my management.

Then when the interviewer asks him is he going to fight Cotto Mayweather replied ......ask my management:rofl

Also if you rib Toney for fighting Gomez then what the hell was Henry Brussels and Sharmba Mitchell doing in the ring with Floyd???

You know that's a good point. Boxing is basically only about athletic ability and humans are fundamentally unable to learn and evolve. We are who we are when we are born and no environmental factors or experiences are going to shape that.

Cotto like all other boxers has learned nothing from the challenges he's faced as a pro boxer. I mean you take the Cotto that first turned pro train him in the gym to punch straighter and get him in better shape and he'll basically be the same fighter as the one that fought through a 36 pro fight career.

What could you possibly learn from fighting the bums he's fought on welterweight and junior welterweight? Certainly Floyd learned nothing from fighting Castillo. Floyd could have faced Oscar in his first fight as a pro and beat him but the damn promoters made him wait. So Floyd like everyone else had to go train to punch a bit straighter and get in a bit better shape you know.. basically do nothing because he was already the greatest of all time. :good
