I feel like wilder has seen the best of tyson fury, have we seen the best of wilder yet? With malik scott he has a good trainer who actually trys to improve his skills. What i have seen in these training clips is actually encouraging. What if wilder turns the script and bullys tyson fury? i know how that sounds and given like NO ONE gives wilder any chance even though hes a dynamite puncher and only needs one clean shot .
If wilder can implement in the fight what malik taught him many people will be suprised. Wouldnt shock me to see wilder do everything better than tyson fury and bang him out when fury goes on an all out attack like in the second fight. Could be an early night this one.

    ONCE AND FOR ALL:

I do understand the hype etc., but why are some ppl forget the facts right now???

    First fight:
Fury at 60-70%, coming back after a long break with mental illness and around 400 lb (180 kg). Wilder has his chance but is unable to finish Fury once and for all...most ppl believe Fury won.

    Second fight:
Fury back at 100%, Wilder 0% chance.

    Thats the story.

The history in Boxings shows in a 2nd or 3rd match the better and more skilled Boxer wins, except he is completely out of shape or something else is wrong.

    PS:
I remember damn good in a German Boxing forum (my first language, i am German) when the weigh in for the second fight took place, and Wilder was there at 231 lb (104 kg) and locked bulkier as ever, the ppl were so excited and thought he would just KTFO Fury in 2-3 rounds since he as more power plus Fury is too heavy.

    The result is known!

Wilder proved in the second fight he moves like sh... at 230 + x lb. His own body is built for carrying around 210-220 lb (95-100 kg), maybe 215 (97 kg) is the best for him.

He himself will not be able to move like he did against Stiverne, Fury 1, Breazeale, etc., his closing the gap like a cat is gone at his current weight.

And what s about his mental state?

It looks to me like he is not there anymore. Remember how he was before, always a loud mouth, always talking much, always on social media, etc.
Nothing is there anymore...quiet as a church mouse on sunday, empty eyes, and still believing 100% certain Fury is a cheater and only won because of that.

Like AJ TO THIS DAY!!!! has never dealt with the demons from the Ruiz 1 fight (Hearn didnt gave him the time for), Wilder looks to me like he didnt deal with his demons from the Fury 2 fight TO THIS DAY.

I see a man who looks like Deontay Leshun Wilder, but he doenst act like him anymore. He looks like an empty shell.

And about Fury: I think he is now VERY angry! Thats why there were no jokes etc.

Why? Because he realizes now many ppl in the USA really seems to question his win from the 2nd fight and believe the stories about the manipulated gloves, the spiked water, etc., and this has made him mad now.

Can Wilder win? Yes he can! But most probably only if Fury gives him a chance in doing a big mistake, otherwise i could image Wilder gonna end this time on the floor like Rahman did in the 2nd Lewis fight, PSH PSH and BOMM!

It's a Tyson Fury thing. When it comes to this guy, some people just never learn.

    Some sound points raised, man.

Why is Fury's mental health "battles" always brought up, yet people mock Wilders mental state.

How many times has a 36 yr old completely changed up his style and actually look better doing it? It's one thing to try something new in training and another to do it in live action, where it should be instinctive and not thought out. If you're thinking, it's probably too late.

I think Fury took his soul after the 2nd fight. Wilder knows outside of a lucky punch, he can't beat him.

I think you're spot on about everything but his mental state. I think his mentality is on point right now and he's as confident and focused as one can realistically be in facing a guy that destroyed you the last time you faced him.

The silence is coming from him being in a more serious place, imo... a place where he's just ready for war, not words.

Everything else you said though I think is correct. This weight is probably more likely to hurt Wilder than help him.

    But we'll see.

Because one of them was honest about their own problems and sorted them self out, the other is still in total self denial and still making up excuses. You cant fix a problem that you refuse to acknowledge

Wilder is now built for backup dancing in an Adam Ant video ca. 1981.

It is common sense that Wladimir klitschko was a better all around fighter than Wilder yet Klitschko couldnt lay a glove on fury in their fight.
Look at Furys movement against klitschko and tell me it hasnt regressed quite a bit since then. Fury has slowed down just enough for wilder or else wilder wouldnt even have dropped him or even touched him. This one might not be a blowout by fury by all means if wilder learned a few new tricks.

How did you determine the percentage Firy was on the first fight? To speak so definitively I assume you’ve analyzed some data or have something to support that claim?

It don't matter what he's ready for. If he hasn't learned how to box his chances are still slim. His only shot is a knockout. This is Fury's fight to lose.

Great point, Fury who took anabolic steroids and then got in the ring and fought is a stand up guy and worthy of all our praise and respect. Thank you for pointing it out, I feel much differently now.

The only way Wilder stops Fury from bullying him is to very early on in the first couple of rounds Wilder must snap a couple of right hands with bad intentions. Wilder is going to have to at least partially land with some power early and get Fury's respect.
If Wilder can land something early, I dont think Fury will be so quick to just come foward to bully Wilder.

Wilder has to be very economical though. Defensively alert, but ready to pull the trigger on one two's and move away before Furry crowds him with punches on the inside which Fury is much better at.
Tall task for Wilder, but thats the way imo he can win.
