Fowler is a man fighting on his own here. His team abandoned him. Smith had a full team believing in him and fighting for him. Fowler had mercenaries. Disgraceful. Fowler needs to leave his team and move over to a proper team like McNally. It wasn't a battle of athletes then. It was a battle of cornermen and Fowler was abandoned disgracefully by cowards!
Looking at the power punch statistics through 7 rounds and Fowler is almost double the number of shots landed. Yet the commentator consistently repeats Smith is doing more? "Different class"? Smith was almost KO but Fowler didn't take his chance when he had it. Too much respect perhaps. Great KO, but looks like Fowler just gave up there. Tank empty?
Enjoyable scrap that. Fowler had his moments but as I suspected, Smith has just operated at a higher level. I think Smith's constant pressure with his feet tired Fowler out and Fowler couldn't fight at that pace on the back foot.
12 round plan. Sadly for Fowler his corner abandoned him and he can come again. He needs to find a proper corner crew instead of hyped mercenaries.
Terrible commentary on DAZN. They closed their eyes anytime Fowler did anything Good card though, enjoying it
That was weird. Fowler was up at 9 but his body language was like he knew he had already lost. Smith was running across the ring celebrating and his corner were entering the ring before the referee waved it. It was like all involved just decided the fight was over before the referee did?
