Usyk could undress Wilder but he isn't knocking him out and 36 minutes is a long time to dodge the right hand. AJ landed a few good ones and he isn't as fast or long as Wilder or nearly as powerful. It's an intriguing matchup, Fury's No.1 but both Wilder and Usyk (whatever order) are both above AJ.

It was a gutsy performance from Wilder no doubt, he had his moments in the 4th and was more competitive this time out but he got beat down pretty hard again in the end. Think Usyk handles him and I think Joshua fight is a 50-50 fight. But props too him.

When he say's 'clearly number 2' he's not referring to a ranking position... :naughty2:

Personally after watching last night I have it:-

    Usyk > Fury > Joshua | Wilder

Fury looked fairly off last night to me until around the 6th - sure Wilder started the 1st with a solid gameplan, but didn't take him long to abandon it and revert to type.

The fact that Fury's lateral movement was nonexistent, his judging of distance was off and his defence was as leaky as I've seen it. All of that adds up to a very hard time against Usyk. But of course Fury might have been taking Wilder for granted a bit and had to adjust / dig deep and was surprised early.

I've wondered for a long time whether all of Fury's "ATG attributes" were as much smoke and mirrors due the level of comp / opposition as much as anything else and last night did nothing to erase those doubts.

I'm not entirely sure Fury really fancies the Usyk fight anyway - he on record as not really liking fight smaller faster guys - and said Cunningham was his hardest fight - he might have changed his opinion after the 4th round last night, but aside from that Fury pretty much dominated Wilder.

Joshua vs Wilder is quite an interesting one - i'd probably give Wilder the edge in that simply because current AJ is so easy to tag and will not walk through fire to land his shots - that gives Wilder an edge IMO. Not sure AJ is capable of keeping Wilder at length for 12 rounds - he's not good enough technically to do that.

Fury > Usyk > Wilder > Maybe AJ, but 4th spot is up for grabs

The punishment Wilder has taken in these two fights for me means that he now loses to Usyk. If his corner pulled him out like they should have he might stand a better chance, but I fear permanent damage for him after seeing how many big shots he took this time around

Yes getting spanked by Fury 3 times and beating Ortiz twice in fights he was losing that's the resume you expect from the 2nd best heavyweight in the world. Where do you rate Chisora? Just after AJ? Why not ahead of AJ lol.

Alright I know Joshua lost in a poor performance but let's not forget that NO ONE wants to fight Usyk, Wilder and Fury's promoters don't dare to utter his name and will do anything to not fight him. I'd say Fury is no 1 with a big question mark till he fights Usyk. The reason for this is that Usyk is the one fighter that truly offers something different and can in theory be effective against Fury.

The problem with Wilder is that he's been thrashed by Fury, beaten Ortiz, and beaten Bermane Stiverne.

And that's really all there is to say about him and it isn't a great deal.

His record against ranked contender is 3-2-1 I think, and we all know that's really 3-3.

I have Uysk, AJ, Fury, Wilder. I think Uysk is the best fighter hands down and the Fury that was in the ring tonight, would lose to AJ. I simply don't like the weight on him. It very clearly affected his mobility and speed which are usually strengths for him. He was far to hittable.
