Because he hurt Helenius and was in control before getting caught or at least he was getting the better of it 50/50 for me
Kownacki is lighter than last time but still too heavy. Helenius will be more confident this time too knowing he can KO Kownacki and Kownacki is awfully easy to hit. I'm favouring Helenius now to catch him coming in again and stopping Kownacki.
Helenius is coming in eight pounds heavier than he did last time against Kownacki. All of his losses did come when he was in the mid 240's to early 250's so you have to take that into account.
Helenius looked gassed after those 4 rounds if Kownacki can keep up the pressure like he did in the first fight. And adds a little bit of head movement and defence ( hopefully he did that in camp ) Its his fight
I'm not very high on either guy but honestly, Helenius caught lightning in a bottle. I don't see him duplicating his success. Kownacki puts him down late.
WOW was Kownacki not in shape lol He looked like his training consisted of running around his apartment building twice
Wow just watched it and Kownacki made Helenius look like Ali in there at times, lol. Kownacki clearly spent the whole camp focused on losing weight rather than learning to move his head. That's the big price you pay when you are not in shape between fights, you end up using your training camp to lose weight rather than working on skills to actually win the fight. Crazy to think Martin had a close fight with him and Martin was a world champion. Martin must be the worst heavyweight champion ever. Glad to see Helenius rack up a couple of wins, I always liked him despite being very limited.
Are you sure Helenius is very limited? IMO sometimes he shows flashes of brilliance when he puts his combinatioms together. Dude looks sometimes like young Riddick Bowe.
And he still looked like crap. His whole lower half was flopping over his shorts like a deflated balloon and his breasts were very Arreola-like. Wouldn't really have made a difference what he worked on I think. He just wasn't going to beat a dialled in Hellboy with the crude set of skills and limited boxing brain he had. Congrats to Helenius. I'd like to see him harpoon Ruiz next. Winnable high profile fight for him.
Helenuus doesn't have a chin , anyone with a punch can KO him.But a good two wins ,against this fat hypejob.
Kownacki looked worse than in the first fight. What has he been doing in training? Lost a bit of weight and grew a beard ... but I thought he was working on defence? Might be over for him.
