He wanted to go out on his shield and he certainly did that..... Flat on his face, the ref could have counted to 50 and Wilder would still have had to be peeled from the canvas. Having now watched the fight again the KO was as brutal as they come, the fight is a fight that will only age better with time and will still be talked about years from now. I feel if Breland was still part of the team he would have saved Wilder again.
Probably not. I noticed Wilder's left side of his head was caved in again. Is it the same injury, or does his head always look like that?
In his old age when he can't speak properly at all, yeah he'll wish Mark was there to stop him from taking so much punishment. As for right now, however, no. Wilder will take his eleventh round knockout as vindication that Breland shouldn't have thrown in the towel, even though Wilder had nothing left and wasn't really in the fight after the sixth round or so
No because thats how he wanted to lose, him going out on his shield. If someone threw in the towel that would have stopped that.
He can’t speak properly at all now never mind in his old age. He just mumbles some incoherent contradicting nonsense and then yells Bomb Squad.
He is a sour bitter loser. A bad sportsman. It's similar to what Shannon Courtenay did last night but on a much worser scale. I don't care how he performed in the ring. He should get zero credit from eveyone. Boxing is known for fighting tough in the ring but when the final bell rings, you show your opponent respect. This cretin showed none. Mark Breland is better off without him.
No he didn't. It seems the sum of total of Scuba Scott's contribution was to tell him to bulk up even though he can't take that much weight, and tell him to throw to the body. A game plan that got abandoned as soon as Fury put that punishment to Wilder He had plenty to teach Deontay. Deontay did not want to learn
Yeah I was interested to see how him targeting the body would work out as he was hitting the target, and then he completely stopped.
