I only give prime Lennox, Tyson and Vitali a chance.

Too big, too strong, too gypsy.

Wilder was around AJ's weight in there last night but was getting mauled into bolivia by an under par fury.

To think this is the guy who was a meme for uppercutting himself

    Ho hum.

He'd give a lot of guys a hard fight but let's not forget he's the guy that swerved Gramps Klitschko in the rematch.

Errr, I will sound like I'm hating but I'm not, it's a genuine comment.

Fury has beaten a 40 year old Wlad, sure he ended his 10 year reign and did it in Wlads backyard but it was a Wlad who was at the end.

As for Wilder, well he was being hammered for years before Fury came along, people slaughtered him for his lack of technical ability and many said he is just a one trick pony.

So the reality is Fury has fought and beat Two "top" fighters in the era, I think we need to see more, he needs o beat fighters like Usyk, AJ, Whyte... maybe a few more.

Fury will be a huge favourite in them all but Fury needs to stamp those sort of names really put himself in any sort of argument.

The resume is a little too thin still.

He's a tough fight for anyone. The only heavyweights I see who can beat him with confidence are Ali, Holmes and Lewis.

If he beats Usyk and AJ then he has a claim to be the goat imo.

I've thought that since the second fight.

Also I give Mike Tyson next to no chance to beat Fury.

The fighters I give the best chances to would be

    Lewis
    Ike (yes yes I know)
    Wlad
    Vitali
    Ali

Vitali vs Fury would be an awesome fight.

I've seen saying for a while that Fury at his best beats all of them. Beating Usyk would solidify that further as he's a historically unique HW, most similar to Cunningham + Wallin with a lot more quality.

Based on comments here over the past year, Wilder is a bum, has terrible mechanics, worst HW in history, telegraphs punches, has no jab, no stamina, no boxing IQ. Yet he violently knocks Fury down FOUR TIMES in two fights. So, using this logic, with one decent win over a faded 40yr old guy going through a divorce and two wins over this bum Wilder, and now Fury is an ATG.

Usyk would not fall for the Fury one-two, his best combo. Usyk would not gass out like Wilder. Usyk is faster than Fury, especially his head movement: Fury goes back and forward with his head, not side to side. Usyk wins a UD, maybe by KO, but of course at this point that's an opinion not a fact.

I'm not saying Fury is a "bum"; he's the second best HW of his time. But his record so far is: one decent but horribly boring win over a genuine HOF Wlad, two life and death bouts with a B level boxer with a good punch...and that's it. Thats the sum total of his resume.

I could list all the past HW'S that would give Fury big problems but what's the point.

I think swarmers are exactly the kind of fighter Fury would have a hard time with. That style has gone by the wayside in favor of boxer-punchers. Someone that could jab their way inside, go to the body and keep a high level of conditioning over 12 rounds.

I could definitely see that, but they would have to have the size to be effective with it. For me I don't know who has the combination of size and style to get the job done.
