I know technically Usyk could embarass Wilder, but could Usyk let alone Joshua have taken them big rights Fury took and got up ? Its not like Usyk or Joshua are harder to hit. I do not think they could.
1. Fury 2. Usyk 3. Wilder 4. AJ That is my top 4 now. I don’t think many could claim that AJ stands up to that version of Wilder from last night. I think Usyk is disciplined and Skilled enough to not get caught. But if Wilder did land flush Usyk is in trouble
He might well be but nobody knows for a fact.he doesn't deserve to be called the 2nd best imo and putting him ahead of usyk and Joshua is a bit of a reach when you look at who he has actually beaten in a career spanning well over a decade.
You really think wilder is harder to land on than Usyk? Wilder has no defence whatsoever, no head movement, terrible footwork and is quite often happy to just stand with his back to the ropes. Usyk is the exact opposite.
I could. He gassed after round one. The reason he took so long to get out was Fury made a mess of things, he was sloppy and made it a lot harder than it should have been. Fury was also powerful enough to hurt Wilder as seriously as he could be hurt without being knocked out. Joshua wouldn't have that problem. Joshua would knock him spark out.
Wilders best wins are the likes of Ortiz, Spzilka, Washington, Duhaupas and Stivernne.... so clearly not in the better fighter sin the divison let alone top 10. Also the biggest Wilder and Fury fans would admit Wilder is extremely flawed and very limited fighter.
If Wilder is top 4/5, it shows what a poor division it is. He was at his best last night against a ring rusty, Covid recovering (allegedly)Fury, with minimal motivation.
If he is then the division is worse than we imagined. As for neither Joshua or Usyk not being harder to hit than Fury. Well Fury was not good last night at all. It was a poor performance from him (and a slightly improved one from Wilder). I think Usyk and Joshua finish off this version of Wilder. He is spirited no doubt but is as gash as ever.
I’d fancy him to spark Whyte, AJ would be a shoot out…Usyk trickier… Personally don’t rate him as number 2, though he is capable of beating any of the others due to his power. In terms of achievements he’s probably number 4 but he could beat AJ.
I hope Wilder carries on as he’s entertaining to watch- someone is typically getting knocked out when he fights. If he does carry on I suspect Charles Martin will be next. Joshua would be a great fight but there’s no way that fight happens without a title on the line.
#2 based on what? 3 fights vs Fury getting a lucky draw and 2 defeats. How can a guy who hasn't won once in his last three fights and prior to that not have one recognised scalp on his cv be #2 in the division? Usuyk, Joshua and Whyte are all above Wilder. His beaten nobody. One could argue he had no better chance than Saturday to get his win as Fury was overweight and very sloppy yet got stopped again.
