That's a shame to hear. I like Andre Ward. He always seems a pretty intelligent guy and he's got some good insights. Sad to hear that he's so biased for Wilder. LL had some pretty good words for Fury This content is protected
True, normally rate Ward but he was biased af. Lennox used to be a terrible commentator but he was pretty good last night
Thing is that his dad was white. Ward's had white and black people take care of him coming up. He's the last person I'd expect to root for Wilder just because he's black
Hey but Kellerman knows how to stay neutral. He doesn't go into a shell like he's emotionally invested in a fighter. He keeps his praise equal for both camps. For example" no matter what happens to deontay wilder you can't deny that he has heart " meaning that d could possibly get ktfo because he ain't boxing right but he's still hanging in there. Then the very last comment of the night: praises to the gypsy king Tyson fury. Warde just seemed like he wanted to be vocal and root for his guy, but out of his jobs sake he took the upper road and claimed up. Just an observation. However he did depict a fair description of the plot of the fight, just my observation.
Ward did point out the bold and clarified that he isn't partial that way, when defending himself from the LDBC a ways back (they assailed him on account of his comments after the first Fury-Wilder meeting). Maybe all the heat he got from those pharaohs stuck with him after all.
Ward was horrible, is horrible. Very biased announcer and announcers are supposed to be neutral and call the action as it occurs, adding some insight and color as they do. Lewis was much better but he often talks with marbles in his mouth or does not make a coherent observation.
For whatever reason, I think you are right. I would say Tim Bradley, even though I don't really think he's a good tv performer he doe's seem to be able to be unbiased based on skin color. Mike Tyson is the most unbiased in terms of rating fighters of all creeds that I have heard.
I thought I was watching a different fight when he came out with the ' Wilder looks the fresher of the two comment' . That was bizarre! I will tell you what was more bizarre, the fact that I only heard Usyks name mentioned twice in very fleeting moments. Kate Abdo was actually at the Usyk-Joshua fight but seemed she'd forgotten already . ****ing tools, the lot of em.
Andre Ward just strikes me as a miserable kind of guy... he never seems happy, whenever he gives an interview to youtube channels he just always in a hurry and very standoffish ... dude just looks like he has a chip on his shoulder from something
