Oleksandr Usyk. I think Jiro Watanabe had just a couple above 25 but less than 30 so close enough

Usyk would be my pick as I’ve never seen Jeffries.

Jeffries and Britt are the best two shouts thus far along with Watanabe. Loma and Usyk too to a lesser degree. I'll throw out special mentions with personal bias to Carruthers, Payakaroon and Khaokor mostly from a h2h perspective.

Coincidental thing about those two. They both had a 23-1-0 record. They both lost in a rematch against a fighter they'd alteady beaten and then retired after the loss.

I did actually notice that thanks for the contribution.
Hopefully others will watch those two because of you and will have a reason to watch the greatest weight class of them all.

“Taking a Jimmy Britt” used to be rhyming slang in Australia for taking a crap back in my grandparents day.

No disrespect but it’s nice that his name was remembered in some way at least.

None. The word great shouldn’t come into it to a guy with very few actual fights.

Good thread idea. Particularly as there are plenty of fighters today with less than 25 fights.

I actually had no idea Jimmy Britt had so few fights. And damn if his level of opposition isn't the best of anyone with that few fights!

Yeah, that's right. He was 26-2. Damn near perfect career as well for someone with so few fights.

All of this talk about Jimmy Britt makes me hope that my aunt wasn't yanking my chain when she said there is a possibility that I am related to him. After all, a fellow named Aulus Britt appears to be my great-great grandfather on my mother's side. I'm no genealogist, however.
