looks correct to me... ref started the count at 5... which wasn't fair.. btw count should only start when the other fighter goes to the other corner... also he stopped at 8, as soon as Fury put up his gloves and was on his feet. whats the issue here?

Fury wasnt hurt, but the ref is clearly a MORA-N.

Theres someone on the outside that is giving him the count from the moment he hits the mat. Its clear MORA-N lost track of time.

OMG do whine harder. Your boy got his ass handed to him....again! Understand it, accept it, and move on with your life. You'll eventually get over it and come to terms with the reality of it.

The ref's count is wrong seemingly more and more often. Add to that the fact that when the fighter does get up it's often another six or seven seconds before they get the fight started again as they check the boxer's health and it skews the downed fighter's recovery time.

That being said, drenlou's premise is flawed. Fury got up when he needed to based on the ref's count. There is no saying he wouldn't have gotten up at eight or nine if the count was more accurate. He may not have but we don't know that so it is a moot point.

It's a dumb argument. That's not how a KO works. People think the count is a timed count, it's not. It's he the ref's 10 count. The fighter reacts to the count the referee gives them. A good fighter knows to get up slowly based on the ref's count. If a ref count's faster or slower, a fighter needs to react accordingly.

Threads like this make Fury’s victory even more sweet! Nothing sweeter than the tears of the Bumsquad. Thanks!

Fury was down for 11.18 seconds if you set a digital stopwatch on it.

What's with these YouTubers and their eternal struggle to grasp that it's a count to ten and not a count of exactly ten seconds?

Now let's refer to the 10th round; that is a textbook case of a referee giving a guy extra recovery time, whether by design or ineptitude.

Of course they won't say anything about that. How many time did he have to tell him to get hands up and ask him how many times he want to continue fighting. That was a very long time.
