Dumtae was stopped AGAIN. He left the ring a loser and a challenger AGAIN. The excuses for this guy are endless.

The person that made the original video is expecting a strict 10 second count, lol. How long have they watched boxing. The ref is in in charge of the count solely and there are many factors involved and it's all real time, heat of the moment. I have the fight on tape and Fury was up in 8 seconds and the ref was up to the 6 count for the first knockdown. In the second knockdown, Fury was up right about the 10 second mark, but he was waiting for the ref count, not a strict timer count. The ref had to get Wilder in the neutral corner and that delayed the count.

    This is OUTRAGOUS.

The rules need to change. Why does boxing expect a 280 lbs man to be able to rise to his feet as quick as 120 lb fighters? Heavyweights of Tysons size should get 15 seconds to rise otherwise they're being unfairly punished just for being big.

I am not aware of any official rules, but following this forum for more than a year I got to know that the referee's count is a count to ten, not a ten seconds count. This may well be problematic as not every count in boxing has the same effective length and thus some fighters get counted out earlier than others. However, given the fact that the referee has some free space, it gives him time to evaluate wether the fighter can actually continue the fight, which in Fury-Wilder-III was clearly the case.

Another thing to mention is that I do not know when the count is supposed to start. Is it when the fighter touches the ground with another part of the body but the feet? Is it when the falling movement is finished? Does the referee decide here too? These details can make a second or two difference.

In the end, I think the right man won and the referee did his job more or less good. His warnings seemed a bit strange. He kept warning Fury for the headlock without deducting points. Nevermind, good fight, let's move on. Fury is the better man of the two and possibly the best out there in the current HW division.

They're a triggered bunch, despite the fact their guy won. A very weird bunch of individuals.

Wow that video was shocking, I mean it's totally blown away my previous preconceptions and I must admit I was gravely wrong about everything.

I cannot believe a Wilder fan can minus 10 from 17 and actually get the correct answer, mind bubbling, I'm shook I tell you, shook!
