I'd strongly advise you To bank up more rhymes. Groundhog Day isn't over; They'll fight five more times.
Each day most of us, Produce **** with our bowels, I just do it with consonants, And a smattering of vowels,
I also felt sorry for him when Fury came to his corner. He didn't look at his face, he looked to ground and he said things like "I don't respect you". He looked emotionally devastated. I wish he can win a belt again and then retire.
As others said, it is probably due to blood vessels around the area of the ear. But it was apparent early on that Fury was targetting the point just behind Wilders left ear. His favourite combination was slapping Wilder's face with a left followed by a looping right aimed behind Wilders ear. The combination that started the first knock down in the 3rd round was almost a picture perfect replica of the one that dropped Wilder first time in fight 2. Fury just kept throwing that same combination over and over again. So it didn't surprised me his ears were torn up by the end of the fight.
Fury targeted those ears, seems to be a shot he'll go for in the future as no matter what, a massive right hand to the ear will **** you up even if he isn't a power puncher.
It's good to see at least someone here reads the classics. Reminds me of the ancient Chinese proverb enscribed within the walls of the forbidden city: Confucius say, 'man who ducks $100m purse should be careful not to pick a bitter cherry'
