Dude, what 12 round decisions did Wilder win? The stiverne fight, the same stiverne who was obese and gunshy and hardly threw anything? You could not ask for an easier opponent. Stiverne offered nothing whatsoever, just kept up a high guard and simply walked around following wilder around the ring.

Again, wilder has a very low punch output and doesn't fight at a high pace. Not sure why you're not understanding this. At no point was I claiming Foreman had great stamina, but my point is wilder never really kept up a high pace or exerted himself with a high output other than the last fury fight, and he got knocked out.

That's a false narrative. Stiverne showed a lot of heart and was consistently looking for a big left hook and trying to walk Wilder down. He caught Wilder with some hooks, but Wilder took them well.

You probably haven't followed Wilder's career very closely. He was more active and mobile earlier in his career. By the second Ortiz fight, he was much more economical and barely even winning any rounds. His last true prime performance may have been Fury 1 or Breazeale.

As for Foreman, whether it was pacing or poor stamina, the guy was vulnerable as hell in the 70s and barely capable of going the distance. The only lineal champs with worse stamina were Briggs and morbidly obese Douglas.

Show me the fights where wilder displays this amazing 'Kenyan marathon runner" levels of stamina. I'll wait. You made the absurd comparison so I'm holding you to it.

I’m playing poker at the Bellagio and David Haye is 5 tables away from me.

Should I ask him if Tommy Burns could’ve beat him?

Perhaps English isn't your first language. My reference to 70s Foreman making Wilder look like a "Kenyan marathoner*" is a reference to Wilder having limited stamina, but not nearly as bad as 70s Foreman. I am not here to give English lessons and will not explain the nuances of my native language any further

*When quoting someone, you're required to use their exact words. I said "marathoner" and not "marathon runner." This is how quotations work.

Ah, I see. So you were the kid in class who always said "actually..." And reminded the teacher of the homework when there were 2 minutes before the bell. Clearly you're a blast at parties.

If you run a marathon, you're a runner. You're being pedantic just for the sake of being pedantic. Or maybe you don't want to answer basic questions?

I'm aware that you were saying in comparison to Foreman. Now I'll ask again, in which fights did Wilder display amazing stamina?

Wilder having an incredibly low punch output and work rate is not enough evidence. Of course, this would require critical thinking that you don't seem to have.

You think he beats foreman? Given how deontay's punches put him in trouble in the first and third fight, I think young foreman would be a horrible matchup for him

Ok that's a decent example. Still not seeing how he'd look like a Kenyan marathon runner compared to Foreman if you look at fights like Ortiz, fury, Washington, areola, etc.

My guess is Foreman is just to sloppy for a clever boxer like Fury. I do not like his chances. A young Foreman is dangerous , and would love to see the fight, but I think Fury is big and strong enough to push Foreman back ( almost impossible) Fury is just that large.

Foreman would have to fight backing up, he is not used to that. His punches are wide, and Fury will feast on it.

Young Foreman starts as a war and then he gases and gets caught. Old Foreman is Beatdown.

It isn't 4-2-1, I made a mistake. It's 3-2-1, Stiverne wasn't ranked for the rematch. And when one of your three ranked wins, is coming against Bermaine Stiverne, yes I think it's bad. Furthermore, Luis Ortiz never did anything whatsoever to probe he was anything better than Dillian Whyte, a fighter who does make somebody's résumé. The 0-2-1 should be 0-3, and I think it's pretty bad if you're 0-3 against the only lineal champion (and the only proven ranked fighter you've faced), when someone is trying to paint him as one of the three best wins history.

It's embarrassing. Wilder was never, and will never, be anywhere close to that level. And 3-2-1, is not better than Bowe's record vs ranked fighters

So it's exactly what I said it was..... a great passing-of-the-torch moment. Not a great win.

Fury's resume is very thin and Wilder's resume in basically non-existant in all-time sense. Wilder isn't even top 40 HW ever, even Joshua has better resume than him.

I don't know why people act like this trilogy is on par to Ali-Frazier or even Bowe-Holyfield. I'm a big Bowe critic, but he's massively better in terms of resume than Wilder.

Wilder was never even close to the best heavyweight in the division. Been saying it for years now. He avoided every challenge for years because he - or his team, it doesn't matter which - knew he couldn't hack it. It's well known Wilder's has an extremely low output so he carries his power late, but it's also well known in the fights where he's had the pace pushed on him, he's not been nearly as impressive in the late rounds. He'd out-worked himself against Duhaupas, being extremely sloppy and slow to get the finish; tired after the KD in the twelfth vs Fury; far less snap in the nineth against Molina; gassed baldy in the last two fights with Fury; etc. He's always been nothing but a monster puncher. Just because he showed a lot of heart, and took an ass-whupping the other day doesn't change this. We already knew how much heart Wilder had, he's shown it before when hurt in the past, and having fought through injuries.

Povetkin would've beaten him. Wlad would've beaten him. Fury did. Joshua would. Usyk would. Ruiz would. And there's others who are perfectly capable, but would probably get caught.

I already rate Fury somewhere in my Top 15 ATG heavies. He could rise higher after one or two more career defining wins. He comes second behind Lennox Lewis in my Brit heavy poll.

This about sums it up. A dangerous contender with a huge right hand and loads of height and reach - and plenty of weaknesses.
