I repeat Usyk is the best heavyweight around.

He is fast, has great timing, can dance in the ring for several rounds, does not go down, counterpunches magnificently, studies masterfully his opponents before and during the match.
The punches that have made Bodybuilder stagger on multiple occasions show that at that weight he can hurt anyone.
Fury is a great heavyweight, not new, but has several weaknesses. He is not as fast as Usyk, if hit hard he goes down like any other (even though he has formidable recoveries), he has no stamina for 14 - 16 rounds like Usyk has proved to have.
I think USyK and his team are already studying 2 tactics one for Joshua and one for Fury. if he beats them both he would enter by right in the top 10 of all time, surpassing both despite having played fewer matches than them. There are all conditions to state that Fury will feel early the bitter sting of the defeat against Usyk.

    Opinions?

Fury is too big for Usyk. Would love it if Usyk won though.

    It's possible.
The fight needs to be made.

Depends what Fuy turns up. If its the Fury that has no head movement like against Wilder 3 and is there to bully Usyk then he'd be a lot slower and Usyk could capitalize. If it's the one who turned up against Klitschko then he'd comfortably jab Usyks head off.

Usyk is the best Cruiserweight boxer. But Fury is a Super heavyweight.

Fury focused and in shape beats Usyk… too big and too skilled. Yes Usyk is good and yes he is skilled but he is too small. Sorry but it’s the truth.

More or less what I think. Fury has less skill than Usyk but a lot more size and more ways to win. If he sees USyk and thinks that this midget doesn't pose a threat, Usyk will whip him. If he takes Usyk seriously and prepares properly, on paper at least, the fight is his to lose.

Tough one to predict. Usyks skills are undeniable and he’s got speed and ring IQ to match that on top of ridiculous stamina that allows all of the above come to life.

Fury is a tough SOB to beat though, big, awkward and skilled enough to keep away/pot shot all night, definitely smart enough to fight tall unlike certain other guy who’s name starts with A

    and ends with nthony Joshua.

I think Usyk has a good chance against Fury. Steve Cunningham made the point on thaboxingvoice yesterday that he thinks Usyk can avoid Fury's dirty leaning and wearing down tactics with his movement. I agree with that. That is Fury's biggest strength and if that can be neutralised, Fury can be beaten.

If Fury comes in lighter and tries to box, then it gets interesting cause Fury is so big and has such long reach. You'd expect Fury to edge Usyk in a competitive fight if it's Klitschko/Wilder 1-style Fury. Kronk-style Fury is probably a more favourable matchup for Usyk and I'd certainly give the edge to Usyk.

Fury-Usyk is the fight we all need to see because they are by far the two best in the division.

If Fury trims down to the 250-60s then Usyk will be no problem.
Usyk is NOT a KO threat at all at heavyweight and Fury will be all over him.
Usyk may run for a while but that won't win rounds.
Usyk is way over rated. Joshua lost that fight far more than Usyk won anything.
If Joshua grows a pair he could win the rematch by KO but he may be too
mentally gone and gun shy to do that. Too bad Fury already has SugerHill.

I can see a scenario where Usyk can beat Fury.

Usyk is a professional and he always come into the ring prepared. Fury... not so much.

Usyk like Wallin, is a Southpaw and Wallin gave Fury quite a few problems. Usyk's punching technique is better, while Fury is longer and occasionally looping. Fury sometimes smothers himself, while Usyk always keeps himself in a good position to land punches.

Let's not pretend that size doesn't matter. Usyk will be punching up, avoiding Fury and maybe even wrestle with him occasionally. Usyk is going to expand energy faster due to the size disadvantage. Fury's height and reach advantage is also ridiculous, plus he can move really well for a big man. 6 inch height advantage and 7 inch reach advantage is not a joke. He knows how to use his advantages. It's a lot to overcome for Usyk.

When AJ was going to the body you would see Usyk flinch.

    I think Fury mauls Usyk.

You make some good points, Usyk won’t allow any clinching, let alone leaning/deliberate pressing down that Fury seems to deploy to gass his opponent lately.
He’s simply too fast and active, attempts to tie him up may very well make Fury a sitting duck.
Stamina-wise, Fury either needs to preserve his by staying away-potshotting or jab the hell out of Usyk when he’s comming in.
Usyk is no pedestrian though, he makes his way in (and then out) 0 ****s given, which is why this is such an exciting matchup. It’s not really about who’s a better fighter, it’s who can overcome/cancel out the other.

    Lol, dude.
I’ll alow the “AJ lost that fight more than Usyk won” because AJ is a bit of a moron when it comes to using his height, reach and power properly but saying that Usyk is overrated is a bridge too far.
That dude is the goods, purest talent/work ethic and ability to actually deliver, we’ve seen in a long time.

I think Fury would avoid Usyk and even Whyte. He might retire now and say that he done it all. And fanboys will eat it up

It's a very very tough fight for Fury.

    Don't write off Usyk.
