The doctor did not stop the fight because of the cut. The doctor stopped the fight because of Rahman isistence that he couldn't see=didn't want to fight. Big difference. The former it's a draw, the latter it's a TKO for Toney.

The doctor never said that Rahman coudn't finish the fight because of the severity of the cut. The cut wasn't even examined LOL.

What the doctor did do was stop the fight because of Rahman's bitching that he couldn't see (which was understood as him not wanting to continue since the cut hadn't even been determined to be severe enought to warrant stoppage).

Rahman after the fight said he had no intention of fighting James Toney past the third "because he couldn't see," so clearly the ref and doc and the CSAC were correct in calling it a TKO.
