A lot of boxing experts feel so. Mike Tyson his long time critic also tweeted so.

    No.

His stock did go up for me. Not because he showed any improvement with his boxing but he showed good heart, almost recklessly stepping in with hands down at times. Have to give him credit for putting up a fight.

Absolutely not. It was a gritty gutty performance but that alone doesn’t make you an ATG. That would mean provdnikov is an ATG for his performance against Tim Bradley etc. That fight proved Wilder has heart. He showed it before too. I will also go as far to say that was the best version of Wilder I ever saw.
The media wants to keep the shine on Wilder to keep the gravy train flowing. ATG hyperbole is bad for the sport.

We throw HOF, ATG way too flippantly these days , if we're being honest Wilder shouldn't even make the shortlist for induction in HOF.

A modern day Earnie Shavers without the resume and as many losses, that's what he is and even then Earnie was levels above Wilder in terms of boxing skills.

Would fury even be considered an atg? I think this is a discussion best left until they retire.

Wilder was never the number one guy in the division. It was always either Wladimir, Fury or Joshua.

If you’re never the number one guy in your own era, you can never be an all time great.

It doesn't matter what anyone says. We know Fury>Wilder. If Wilder and Fury beats Usyk/Joshua then we will know the order. Until then it's just opinion.

Of course, he's an all-time great. All-time greats think he's an all-time great.

    They vote. They decide.

Message boards trolls don't have much of a say in the matter.

ATG fight, not ATG heavyweight. Until he beats more top contenders I won't consider him at that level.

ATG based on what, losing 3 times to a good fighter.

He has 1 notable win over an old past it ortiz who BTW was outboxing him in both fights and not close to being on anyone's ATG list.

He was a padded record hype job before losing 3 times in a row.

    Joke

No way, it just further exposed his limitations and vulnerability imo. I was more impressed with his initial body attack that he was finding success with than anything else tbh, but he abandoned it quickly once he started to panic.

Hes a massive puncher and very entertaining to watch though, I already thought that long before this fight and this was just further proof.
