I wouldn't pay much attention to what he's saying right now. Fury is on record saying he always gets on a downer after big fights - he's tired, potentially hungover and mentally fatigued.

He's saying he needs a few weeks out so I'm sure once IFL eventually do a sit down with him he will give better answers.

He's just on a 'sugar crash'

"Reporters" Jumping in and asking questions like this so soon after such a fight is a bit crap tbh.
the fighter hasnt even had a chance to digest and process things properly yet.

    Rollseyes!

He took some very hard punches in that fight the other day. Of course, he's not going to be committing his mind to other fights yet.

Get a grip, he's literally just come out of the most gruesome heavyweight fight of recent memory.

Of course he's not going to start committing to stuff yet. Fury will want a few more fights under his belt, but let the bloke enjoy some time off.

At 33, having another lay-off after not fighting for 2 years isn't the best idea, these are prime years, every month is important.

First, beating Whyte. Then, bout for being undisputed with Usyk or AJ.

    He will retire after that.

Before that fight he was saying that he wants to stay active and fight Whyte in december. Did Wilder hurt him so much that he is not certain of his future anymore ? Really ?

It's amazing how people take what Fury says literally when it suits them. It was obvious he'd never be fighting Whyte in December - Whyte hasn't even beaten Wallin yet.

If he fights Whyte it'll be in the spring, probably around the same sort of time as Joshua vs Usyk to (hopefully) set up an undisputed fight in September time.

He took some big punches the other night.

December for Whyte was unrealistic because Whyte was always scheduled to face Wallin on October 30th.
But December is even more unrealistic now, because, yes, Wilder gave Fury a tougher fight than expected.

Fury should aim to be back in the ring March or April.

After a fight like that do you realistically expect him to say, 'yep i'll fight Whyte in 8 weeks time?'

According to his "schedule", Whyte should be in December, he needs to stay active. its best for him. That doesn't mean "you can't rest!", I'm just worrying a little as when he usually says this, this means "I'm not fighting for a year until I feel like it".

I'm not talking about actually fighting in december, I'm talking about his attitude before and after the fight. Like always, he is talking differently every other week.
