Kelly has a lot of first on his resume when it comes to stops. This could be one more.

I'll go against the grain here and predict a Hopkins late T/KO. A strong counterpuncher is one of Pavlik's achilles heels, and Pavlik has never dealt with any fighters as awkward as Hopkins. I think the fight will be ugly as sin, but Hopkins will consistently land the more effective punches, and his upright style will leave him prone to being nailed on the chin. The 175 pound version of Hopkins is probably the hardest puncher Pavlik has ever faced, and he's certainly the most accurate puncher he's ever faced. Eventually the accumulation will add up.

Of course, but Hopkins' days of pound for pound are past, and Kelly hasn't done enough yet in my book. He's certainly not top three as boxrec are claiming!

Beat Taylor twice who beat Bhop twice. Kind of a linear title.....

We all may ***** and moan about this fight, but the main reason they do it is for $$$$$ - Hopkins is a big name that the American public knows well, This is to build up Pavlik's name so that he can be a potential big money maker one day..... ITS A BUSINESS - which does make things annoying at times.

I think Hopkins looked solid against Calzaghe. I don't think Pavlik is ready for someone as wily as B-Hop.

That said, I hope Kelly knocks his ****ing head off.
