There's always gonna be a feeling of suspense in a wilder fighter, because hes so vulnerable to getting outboxed easily and caught with good shots, but all its takes is for him to land 1 good shoot and the fight is most certainly over. It makes for alot of drama

It is basically this generation's Dempsey vs Firpo: those two just bashed each other and traded knockdowns for five minutes.

It is one of the greatest bouts of all-time. Simply flabbergasting and it was contested between one of the greatest of all-time in Fury and one of the most dangerous punchers of all-time.

At least you had a 'whirlwind' in that one, with Dempsey. Certainly no 'whirlwinds' in Fury-Wilder 3. Even the 'windmill' was absent!

Since the 2000s we have only had

    Lewis-Klitschko

    Joshua-Klitschko

    Fury-Wilder Trilogy

That's 5 really and truly memorable HW fights in 21 years.....

It exceeded expectations, was entertaining as hell, both fighters are getting lauded... could be worse. Its OK to let people enjoy things.

Great fight for this era for sure. Holyfield-Lewis II was a better fight imo.

    It was a superb fight.

I can name three better fights involving the guys in your avatar pic alone. :sisi1

The reason people are being overly critical is because so many have been going overboard in the other direction calling it the best HW fight in decades or close to all time, which is patently hogwash. I've been saying Fury vs. Wilder III was a good fight since the night it happened, but have been quick to add "...but not great", because there is a sizable and unrelenting cross section of fans who refuse to believe it wasn't in the stratosphere of 'greatest ever'.

Very few men can handle that right hand Wilder throws

After Wilder has put more men to bed people will respect this fight even more
