Terry O' Conman shat it that night & gave the decision to Fury & Big Bad John was robbed! Also Johns dad Stan beat O' Conman when they were both pro's so maybe that had something to do with it as well!
The money earned by McDermott - £20k purses to headline fights yet puddings Chisora and Whyte get 7 figures.
From what I've grown to understand Big John Fury's mind was never properly on the job when it came to full time boxing as a pro. That said, I think McDermott has his way with him without too much fuss. Underrated fighter actually. He gave an albeit young Tyson all he could handle and that version was still a much better boxer than his old fella.
McDermott for me. He beat Tyson in the first fight and John was no where near Tyson’s level. I liked watching McDermott box.
He also beat Danny Williams and on the end of the 2nd worst card in history after the card by Spud when he beat Fury.
Big John was a hard tough man. I'm pretty sure he would stop John Fury with no problems. That bein said my betting record lately is atrocious
