Tyson Fury could barely land a glove on Wladimir Klitschko? Where exactly was the masterclass?

Or I changed my opinion after reading another posters argument.

I will concede, hell you've convinced me, that for for now Fury should go down as the top HW of his generation, but this generation of fighters are not done yet.

Yeah, and if they get themselves sorted out you could really have something coming.

    Fury-Whyte
    Usyk-Joshua II
    Wilder-Helenius
    Fury-Usyk
    Wilder-Joshua
    Wilder/Joshua-Fury/Usyk

    But it'll never ****ing happen.

A couple of them will happen. Isn't Whyte Fury's mando, and Usyk-Joshua II is going to happen.
Helenius will fight someone on that list; didn't he also become a mando for some belt?

WBA, who I guess will strip someone sooner or later and then toss Wilder in with Helenius for the vacant, bull**** strap.

I think Fury is likely past his prime already. He no longer seems to be able to motivate himself to get in shape. It depends on how we are defining an era because fighters around the same age as Fury will likely be scoring wins long after Fury is gone

LOL. You know that Wlad is a safety first fighter, right? The amount of clean shots Fury landed was incredible considering Wlad wasn't really touched by anyone for like 10 years. Fury put on a MASTERCLASS performance.

He had issues stopping him having a proper camp so best give him the benefit of the doubt I think. Got the job done anyway.

It was dominant. Wlad landed basically nothing all night.

It was close to a shut out.

And if Fury fights at age 40 and gets KTFOed what would you say?
Let me guess, he was old, out shape, had mental health issues, and was unmotivated

Well he's young, out of shape, unmotivated for a Whyte bout, and has mental issues now; it ain't going to get any better!

Wladimir hardly threw a punch, Fury controlled the fight. I'm not even sure you have watched it.

I agree, he was way slower in 3rd Wilder match compared to 2nd match. If Wilder were a bit more skilled he could KO Fury.

Fury did what he needed to do to win in Germany, it wasn't his game to land clean accurate punches, he had a very good defense and his offense was ugly, he has gotten better at landing flush punches under Sugar Hill, he couldn't land good punches against Klitschko because he kept jumping right back with his arms out and ducking and clinching and Klitschko wasn't in range to land himself, and also Fury couldn't connect properly, but what can he do when Klitschko is doing that?

I previously used to post as user 'EverLast' - many moons ago where this forum was a far more reputable place.

Anyway, just to bring some sanity to this conversation. I am seeing comments like 'it wasn't that dominant' as it was 'boring, slow, and wlad couldn't pull the trigger'.

This is patently false. I ask this question to you Klitschko nuthugging wankstains...was Wlads win over Haye dominant? Because as far as I remember, that's exactly what it was deemed, where it shared pretty much the same sort of characteristics as Fury-Wlad, but this was supposedly a so called prime wlad that was unable to knock out or 'dominate' the way you people wish to be satisfied - that too against a much smaller man.

It was a dominant boxing display, as much as haye being beaten by Klitschko,
    - wladimir never really looked like winning against Fury throughout the fight - as opposed to coming within a whisker of knocking out the bodybuilder but lacking the minerals to go for it, a whole two years of inactivity later.

The truth is Wlad has never been able to reconcile the fact that he lost to a guy who represents everything that makes Klitschko uncomfortable - you guys know what I'm talking about deep down!
