He is genuinely the best HW on the planet both outside and inside. He is the best out-boxer and swarmer at the same time. What a freak of nature. Thoughts? Is he the best in both style?
He is sensational, him and Usyk. Both are entertaining and likeable. They don't require their lines to be on an autocue.
I'm gonna answer in a double ended fashion. Inside and outside the ring, Tyson is a good ambassador: Christian, devoted family man, trains hard, fights against mental illness, with a big heart and a great attitude. Inside the ring: big bad surly stubborn heavy, draining, physical- with skills to match. But however his inside game is not the greatest. I've seen guys in the lightweight division like Juan Diaz literally chop down a tree as though that tree was the opponents body. Ricky Hatton, always rough in the clinch. Why listen to the ref if he says no holding, do not do that, or stop hitting on the break. Keep throwing till it's broken up or says break. Instead rough him up maybe even take a step back and drill him with an uppercut like Bowe hurt Evander with or a chopping right hand like John Ruiz would throw. You gotta be rough, inside fighting should hurt, especially against a gentleman who would say "he the ref already said stop". Keep on hitting him!
Fury likes fighting dirty, he grabs & puts his weight on his opponent anf drains his energy. Some skilled boxer like Usyk will teach him that he is not that great.
At HW, yeah, he is the best at doing it, that's true for me. Uysk is better at executing skills, but he will be shown up both inside and outside by Fury because he is so, so much bigger. And executing his gameplan at the end of his enormous reach outside and behind his huge bulk inside are aspects of each fightplan.
He looked good against Wilder inside and out cause Wilder can't box. We'll hopefully see how he looks against Usyk, the reigning master boxer in the HW division.
Pretty sure he isn't talking P4P. He's saying no man on earth can defeat him in the sport of boxing. And ya know, he is probably right.
Fury is a great fighter but does smother on the inside a bit for me. Loves the clinch and putting his weight on opponents but is so awkward and fluid on the outside. Usyk is a total different challenge will be harder to confine and lean on and will be much more difficult to time with the jab. I didn't think usyk would have the power to cut in the heavyweights but looked solid against AG. Fury usyk is the fight I think everyone wants to see now
