But Thurman hits way harder and is just as good as countering( when focused). He hit Thurman with everamd the kitchen sink and Porter still kept coming.
The more I think about this fight the more I see chaos potential. Both have been out of the ring a long time and haven't faced a challenge in even longer. Porter could be distracted. He's also getting old, had a fairly long amateur career, and some wars at the pro level. I could see it being like Crawford vs Brook where after 30 seconds you know how it's going to end. On the other hand, Porter has been talking about developing strategies to fight Bud for a long time now and it's his last chance. Is Bud going to really going to get up for a guy who looked flat last time out and has never won above a certain level? Porter is going to be a brawler with a game plan. His style is going to be a pain to deal with. I think we'll know a lot more early on. I can see a Bud KO win before round 7 or a very close decision.
All of Porter's losses are controversial, who knows if this one will be. If he could beat him in an uncontroversial fashion then it would definitely be a statement.
Crawford is a very precise puncher. He can catch a guy that comes in hard like Porter and stop him using his own momentum.
This is my opinion as well, Porter is durable but a lot of durable guys take a beating when they get stopped.
