No, needs more marquee wins. So far he has two top wins in Wilder and Klitschko and no one else. If he beats Usyk and then some other top 10 HW (besides Wilder for the millionth time) then I'd say he'd meet the criteria.

Not yet. Ask me again in another 2 years and he could be.

He just needs some depth for me now.
He's beaten long standing champion away from home
Beaten the biggest puncher in the division twice by KO (and unofficially on points), getting up of the deck in the 3rd fight to do it.
    Beaten undefeated fighters.
and we class Wlad as an ATG??? if he we do he has a win over a fellow ATG which separates the wheat from the chaff and Wlad proved in his fight Vs AJ he still had something left. He wasn't prime but not totally shot to pieces so its a good win for Fury.

If he beats Usyk - ATG cruiser and heavyweight unified champion it would be a hard list of wins to knock. I think he might end up fighting Whyte next who's a solid contender. Win that beat AJ or Usyk and if he retired then I would it would be hard to argue against him being unless you want him facing someone like the Croatia heavy's who's name I can't spell or maybe one of the younger up and coming Russian heavy's.

Not yet, he needs a few more big names and longevity now, which he is more than capable of achieving.

Well pound per pound means he transcended divisions. I mean, Spink is great, and of that greatness is at heavy.

He's not as great as Buster Douglas though. Douglas is a true ATG, having beaten a prime champion as opposed to an old one.

Well...Douglas has some very embarrassing losses that drag him down, and doesn't really have that body of work. He will always have the greatest upset in boxing history to hang his hat on.

I can't think of another guy whose legacy in history is that....problematic.

A lot of people remember Douglas for the Tyson fight. I am always going to remember the Holyfield fight, and Glancy saying "you can really see the jelly...especially in his breasts."

"When you unseat an ATG from his legendary title reign, you don't need to do a lot more."

    Just saying.

People who criticize his CV for lacking depth conveniently ignore his wins over his demons who are all elite level and would whoop any opponents you could ever face in ring regardless of how great they are

    Strike 2!

I said you don't have to do a lot more, Douglas didn't do anything more but embarrass himself. Also, Douglas had mitigating losses, but don't get too caught up on that. Just concentrate on what I actually said and you quoted.
