Although he looks flabby his stamina is top of the line. Its really impressive for a fighter his size.
It was a bit weird really. He had fairly recently had Covid and looked a bit out of shape, even for him, but still had strength and stamina in abundance.
Regarding The Tuscaloser's stamina or rather lack thereof. I knew his gas tanks would empty rapidly in Baptism III after suffering the first KD in round 3 just as they did in Baptism II after he'd been dropped. The realization that his worst nightmare was coming true after Fury dropped him for the first time in Baptism II created a lot of mental pressure and turmoil in his mind and that mental pressure subsequently, as it tends to do, took a big toll on him physically. Ditto for Baptism III and as soon as he touched down in that one and I knew it would only be a matter of time before Fury got him out of there.
Look at the bounce in Fury's step as he makes his way over to the other side of the ring to celebrate after wrapping up the trilogy in biblical fashion in Baptism III And that's after 10 + rounds of dosser bashing too Fit as a fiddle even though he's covered in flab and didn't train a lick for the fight This content is protected
Compare it to AJ who couldn't even stand up after taking a battering from Usyk. Didn't even have the energy to pretend like he won
Wilder put way too much mental energy into the fight, Fury just saw it as another day at the office. Hearn correctly pointed out that Fury just drains Wilder mentally.

Yeah we'll never see Fury in the kind of state AJ was in his corner after the final bell in the Usyk fight
He did look gassed and out of shape and he's lucky that Wilder doesn't believe in road work... However, he, like Usyk, has that zombie autopilot gear that enables him to fight on pure instinct and willpower after his body's hit the wall. Similar to Round 10-12 of Usyk-Joshua, the last 4 rounds of Fury-Wilder 3 were fascinating to watch because Fury was anticipating & parrying, catching, or countering everything Wilder attempted in slow mo.
